You should know, I live in Florida. Anything that protects my ears and the back of my neck from sunburn is very important. I absolutely love my cowboy hats and this one is my third after I’ve killed the other two with extensive use. The first thing I noticed out of the box is that this one is really tough! In saying that, if you are a Peter Grimm soft straw hat fan, you may not like the rigidity of this one. However, this is built to last! Also, I have long, twisted/locked hair and there is plenty of room. These are one size, by that what they’ve done is put a nice, comfortable, elastic band in it. The band causes no discomfort whatsoever. If and when I kill this one, I will be buying another just like it!

Well made and very comfortable hat. The inside band holds the hat in place extremely amazingly. It makes sense now how a cowboy on a horse keeps them on there heads. Hahaha. I love it

Solid hatIt came a bit dented and warped but was easily readjusted.It does get a bit hot but other than that was comfortable to wear.Lots of complements on it

I bought it as a "friendlier" Cowboy Hat compared to the one's I have with Skulls Spikes & Studs. No one has dared have any negative reaction considering how political people get these days. I am a born in the USA American Patriot, just that Ive known a majority of People who don't have positive thoughts, views & opinions about USA, Americans, Patriots, Conservatives & Republicans. But even my fellow Gothic people know not to cross me politically. Despite being a Republican. This hat is great. It's extremely comfortable & does better than expected at keeping the sun from overwhelming me & makes a statement that even I'd you're dark,morbid, macabre, goth, punk, or metalhead,you can still be proud to be from the USA.
