For beginning drummer, great buy!

Excellent value - nice little set for the price.

The rods and brushes work fine. However as soon as I used the rods, I noticed a "dust" coming off of them. No big deal, I thought. I went outside to whack them around until the dust stopped. I thought they were good to go after that, but then I decided to take of the black end cap of one of the rods. That's when I noticed a mold growing on the inside of the end cap. The rods were MOLDY! The "dust" was MOLD. I'm cleaning them right now.The seller needs to make sure the rods they are selling are stored in a dry place, and that the product isn't moldy before selling them. I think that should be a given for practically any product sold online, but I guess not for these sellers. This would've been a 5 star review if the rods were clean. 3 stars will have to suffice because the brushes are what I really needed out of this set. The rods would've be a nice bonus for the price.

Pretty good for a unbranded drum sticks.

Love the brushes and rods. I'll use a brush in one hand and a rod in the other depending on what sounds I'm attempting to get.

In essence, the brushes were very cool, and they still are holding up. But the hot rods are ridiculously flimsy and the caps off the bottom slip off while you play and the sticks in the rods shift and it’s just so bad. Forget the hot rods, the brushes are the best thing out of this! 👍 I wouldn’t recommend this set of sticks if you don’t need the rods, I truly thought they were nice within the first five minutes of playing.

Only used a few times and fell apart in less than 4 months.

I bought these for my husband as a Christmas gift. They are exactly as pictured and my husband has enjoyed using them.
