Works well with my PS3. No lag, button stick, or ghost presses. Just wish the wammy bar was removable.

1) why did they have to make tilt as the space key? constantly pulls up change key mapping on clone hero by accidentally tilting (only slightly). 2) controller X-input mode as second player doesnt register certain key presses on guitar such as green and blue fret keys when trying to map on clone hero, which means I can only use this guitar in single player in keyboard mode.*edit*I am now changing my review from 3 stars down to 1 star. I have played maybe 30-50 songs over the past couple days and the strum down is now squeaking every time (loudly). The dongle stays plugged into the PC for clone hero all the time, and when i turn on the guitar it goes into X-input controller mode for some reason. I press the 'S' and 'PS' buttons at the same time to put it back into controller mode and the light never changes from 2 to 1, all i hear is my PC making the noise when you disconnect and reconnect a USB device. I end up having to turn off the guitar, unplug the dongle, turn the guitar on, then plug the dongle back in; in order to get the guitar back into keyboard mode. Why is the on/off switch under the battery cover? i cant expect the guitar to go into sleep mode on its own unless the guitar is laying flat on the table (maybe). if the guitar is leaning against the wall or on a guitar hook with the neck upright, it will constantly spam the space bar FOREVER and NEVER go to sleep on its own (design flaw). The tilt was super sensitive when I first used the guitar, and now I cant get it to activate star mode unless i tilt down fast then back up. The tilt mode is obviously not spring-suspended (or w/e the good tilt switches are) as the older red octane guitars were (you could have it tilted all the time, then just shake it a little bit to activate star mode). My OLD playstation 2 red octane guitar works 10x better than this using a usb adapter. I just cant believe that this NBCP guitar is having all of these problems at the price point they sold it at. You can only justify selling at this price if it also worked on PS(4) even without all of these problems. I just dont know what else to say about this.. very unhappy...

i love it for thee most aspect of it for however probably just me idk how to fix thee bug where it completely changes my keyboards key binds and i have to reset each time i don't want to use it by signing out of my computer just to reset it idk could be skill issue but still fun thing ive always wanted to have : )

This is a great product, very durable to I’ve dropped several times by accident and still going strong for a year now!

UPDATED REVIEW: Ive played on this guitar for a long time already. I even went as far to 5 star every guitar hero 3 song on expert. However there was a couple things holding me back the whole time.The first problem is that its super sensitive and likes to shut off on its own. I noticed it does this whenever I try to reach for the star power button for some reason. It ruined a lot of sections for me so I had to start over many many times because of this issue.The next issue it has is that the star power doesnt work when you tilt the guitar like youre supposed to for that method. Even if you do the motion slowly and aggressively. Then on top of that, the star power just activates on its own randomly. I'd be trying to save up star power for certain sections and it would just straight up waste it by activating when it wants to.There is a minor issue as well where the neck of the guitar is a bit wiggly and not very secure from where its attached to the body.Other than those issues it works. The buttons are responding and the strum bar works. And there is barely if not any lag between the console and the guitar.

Good guitar hero controller for ps3. The buttons are very stiff but it works pretty well. Hopefully they soften up over time. Connects easily. All I had to do was plug in the USB dongle and turn it on. Would recommend to anyone who needs a replacement guitar controller
