This digital alarm thermometer is useful for several applications. Do you have a use to measure temperatures between -58 to +158F (-50 to +70C)? From aquariums, freezer, fridge, etc. this thermometer is very useful at reporting those temperatures for you.What I like about it:- For a small device, the display is large and easy to read.- There is a min/max button to tell you the temperature ‘swing’ low to high – very useful for knowing the temp range of a refrigerator or freezer.- You can toggle from measuring F to C- You can set an alarm at your desired temperature- It includes a plastic mount so the temperature probe will stay in the place you want it to be- The wire is plenty long enough for most applications- The thermometer has its own stand, it has magnets or you can hang it this is nice for a variety of applications- Takes a standard AAA battery, which are easy to find- Cost is reasonable at $14.80 – regular priceWhat I didn’t like about it:- I couldn’t find a way to turn it off outside of removing the batteryBesides the fact that there isn’t an easy way to turn this off, I am impressed with this thermometer. It more than satisfies my need. Using common household AAA batteries is a plus since we always have a few of those around the house.I’m using this thermometer to monitor a brew batch and ensure that the heated bucket stays within an acceptable range. I can very easily see the temp at a glance and can see the temperature range. I also like the fact that the plastic mount piece allows me to precisely place where I want the temperature probe to get accurate readings.

well made, well designed, easy to read tempall buttons are simple to use, no menus,easy to mount temp sensor, very accurateand all this for $15? Impressive, now flaws here, 5 stars
