Alien: Romulus - Blu-ray + Digital

Alien: Romulus was one of the better additions to the series. Not a huge fan of the ending, but still worth watching.

This is truly a great movie a great addition to the aliens series. Will keep you at the edge of your set just when you thing its over its not.The ending picks up aliitle like the end of movie one and move two. Recommend.

We’ve been fans of the Alien / Predator series since they first came out- well, thats before most of you were born- ha ha ! (80’s i think) My favorite of the series is - drum roll please- Alien vs Predator. And I’ve watched that movie a dozen times…..Anyway- this one tried to be different , putting younger people , “mine workers” i guess you could call them,into the main focus. The main actor- the young girl and her android “friend” …you get attached to them. The actors all did well.My only complaint is that , I guess the producers/directors think they need to change the aliens, by morphing them, i guess to make it more interesting..?? I wish they wouldn’t do that. The aliens are scary enough- thank you very much- if you doubt that- than imagine that thing walks up behind you , the spit hanging down, before it gets you- yeah- you’d be scared , so would I !!!! So, why do they have to change it up too much ? Scary works when it’s done right !- yes, you can quote me on that !!Now, recently , we were told about another alien movie, called Prey. That has now become my all time favorite of this series. We loved everything about it- the time setting- the native Americans and their culture, and the bravery of this young girl…..try that movie out- it’s on Prime and it’s FREE !!This was good, but a little disappointing. Still had good effects, etc. good acting.I do hope I helped you movie lovers out there- even those who enjoy a scary movie now & then- Cheers to YOU !!

I don't wanna spoil this for everyone who hasn't seen this. This would be my top #2 Alien film of all time. Even though Ripley isn't in this but there are good characters and acting. You will get Blu-ray disc and digital (Unless it expires). Plus special features. Highly recommend it if your a Alien fan.

ok...so..there are a lot of the 1 star reviews that said that they couldn't follow the plot or story line, well it has a plot it just moved a little quick, as far as the story what i think they are trying to tell us is that the original ship that found the Alien, Nostradamus (first movie) is that there where other ships looking for the alien ship as well,and found it.a lot of the same things happened on this ship before our miners found it, also its not hard to figure they (yutani-waylon corp) used the same model android on these ships with the same directive, so basically im figuring they sent out search parties looking for the original Alien (first movie) unbeknownst to each ship, so we got that out of the way, however...dot dot dot, there are things i can see where people didnt like parts of the movie, for one they're all idiot kids with stupid haircuts and use words like "sick", one kid does indeed talk like hes got a mouth full of marbles because 2 of the male characters speak great brittan style english and have heavy accents. its hard to understand what they're saying half the time, the acting is ok at best, the special effects are ok at best, lighting not that great either, another is our girl hero and her black broken robot friend, of which the crew members hate on the entire time for no reason wasting more time and effort on things that dont matter and blow by the stuff that should matter, they use catch phrases form the earlier movies which was just cringy. another is the story moves quick without a lot of setting up that would be helpful to bring us along,.. and when the other ship crashes into the other ship you never see an outside shot so we dont know where they are going..but of course the miner chick whos never been on that ship before knows how to use everything and where to go and how to get there, there are also times where you say to yourself, ya that wouldnt happen because you need to do this first or ya that wouldnt happen like that, but you go along for the ride. some where saying the android ash looked like a cartoon, of which they could have indeed done a better job, lazy effort on ash he looked janky, and yes they use a lot of the same gimmicks and tricks in 1-3 movies of which also made it look lazy and phoned it writing. i personally think it wasn't gory enough. timeline for gestation's are off and again making it quick and lazy, also some say they didnt like the ending but a few other alien movies ended the same way, all in all it was worth the 6 bucks but no way in hell 20, so if you want to grab your girlfriend and a 6er and have a few jump scares for 6 bucks go for it. you wont feel too bad if you end up "watching a movie" instead of actually watching the movie,...also people are blaming ridley scott but it wasnt written or directed by him, if you watch the end credits you can see were a lot of things where done over seas like in itally and france and some sort of asian credits, and foreign actors, SOoOOoo in order for disney to save money it looks like they outsourced a lot of the special effects,.and actors, and it shows. i think that is a HUGE disservice and a slap in the face money grab to the franchise and the fans. i think they could of done better with this American classic, so in usual fashion disney scr00wd the pooch again. i think they should of done where they left of with covenant. that would have been a better story and done much better than this cheap imitation foreign knock off of an insult.

Alien: Romulus has revived the Alien franchise. It has it all. Face huggers, evil AI, chest bursts, acid for blood, xenomorphs, and the bad ass heroine! Great story from beginning to end it even has a touch of Ripley in it.The steelbook is awesome! The extras are great and give you more Alien lore and lets you know the Alien franchise has a brand new future ahead.

Definitely a good addition to the franchise.
