hope cat uses it. ez to build. well designed . One Fast Cat 48" exercise wheel
fat shipping. brought in from front porch. 20 mins to put it together. No tools necessary. Easily Snaps Together. Comes with picture book instructions. Appears to be durable. Spins real nice. Stops after couple revolutions. G Cat will not be flipped over backwards ( once he figures it out ) when he stops . Bit of noise from wheels, not really a bother. Only had it for an hour, G Cat ( Siberian ) is more interested in the cat toy box, kit shipped in, than the One Fast Cat exercise ring/wheel . G Cat is tip of nose to front his tail, 20" long. 14" 48" might be over kill. But, his back will ( once he starts running in it ) straight , not an U shaped. Will not pinch any nerves. 204$ including California and County Santa Clara sales tax. 199$ price on Amazon. Once all snapped together, and set up, floor to top of ring, 48.5". Inside diameter of ring is 43". Outside Diameter of Ring is 46" Cat's Running path is 10 5/8" wide. Outside width of ring 11.25" Stand is 12.6" wide. No idea how the competition measures their wheels/rings/set up. Ordered the grey padding. Sticky pads fit well, I should have cut the over lap. Figure G Cat will not care . If you are better with spacing pads than i am, will be very little if any over lap. Pads ez to lift and reposition ... ... whole thing is a piece or cake ( some prefer Pie ) to put together. Just made Inside out Side 2 yr old kitty an inside cat. No more worries about one of the many hungry San Jose Coyotes eating him. He has a tracker, can see , every day outside ( yes is is neutered and has all his cat shots ) he walked at least a half mile without ever being more than 3/4 of a block from the house. Hope he can get his steps in on this One Fast Cat Exercise wheel. Ordered on the 2/18/26 arrived 2/21/26. Free Amazon Prime shipping.

Our Kitten's New Favorite Toy!
Our bengal LOVES his wheel!! He had never used one before, and we had never purchased a cat wheel until now. It was SO easy to build, literally click and go (if you like legos.. ๐๐), hardly produces noise during active play, has a very minimalistic and sleek design, is not heavy (can be moved around the house if necessary), I just can't say enough good things about this product! I was worried about wobbling at first, but watching him run and play on the wheel, it remained STURDY! There is the tiniest bit of wobble, but not enough to cause any issues with high energy play. Another thing about the noise it makes - if you are in another room, the sound is very faint. When you are in the room with the wheel while your kitty is walking/running/playing on it, the sound resembles a fan. I would definitely NOT consider this toy noisy! The ONLY thing that spooked me at first were the edges of the physical wheel - when I was mounting the large wheel onto the base, the inside edge (where you attach the carpeted slabs) cut my thumb since it was very sharp. I was afraid our cat's paw might get sliced on the edge, but so far we, and he, have been totally fine! Rounding that edge out would be my only critique! I am so happy with this purchase, I wish we had room for one on every floor of our house!

Solid product - solid, ethical business - order without worry
Why did you pick this product vs others?: Five star product. Brilliant design, solid build, easy-peasy assembly in around 30 minutes. Top tip: for the most part (95%), one person can assemble the product single-handed. However, for the final part (5%) - that is, adding the inner padding (around 6 tiles or so) - I HIGHLY recommend two people. That's because those tiles, when all combined, fit P.E.R.F.EC.T.L.Y. To the millimeter. That means - in order to avoid any overlap - you need Person #1 to hold the wheel still, while Person #2 applies the tiles with military precision. (This ensures a perfectly smooth running surface and avoids small overlaps between tiles that might snag kitties' claws). Finally, a personal anecdote: I saved for several weeks to be able to purchase this item for my three cats. I was totally convinced they would love it. I was super stoked when I finally saved-up enough cash to make the order. And I couldn't wait to watch them enjoying it. Turns out, none of them were convinced by it. I spent about 3-4 weeks trying to encourage and train them (using various incentives - a sprinkle of cat nip, some strategically-placed treats, a feather boa - all in vain. I was heartbroken. Imagine my delight, then, when I contacted Customer Service and was told "It happens; no problem; simply return the product for a FULL refund". This was just incredible. So cool. A totally ethical company, no quibbles, no shenanigans, just a straight 'Hi-5'. I wish all companies can be like that. Textbook customer service - thank you so much. Conclusion: love the product - highly recommended - and a first-class, ethical company behind it. Give them a try. Sturdiness: Solid. Build quality: Solid. Appearance: 4/5 - perhaps some kind of decoration on the outside surface of the wheel would help with aesthetics. Size: As expected; designed for cat health & safety. Material thickness: Perfect.

EASY TO ASSEMBLE, SEEMS VERY STURDY, BUT I CANNOT GET MY CATS TO USE IT.
I wanted to love this. I'd ordered another exercise wheel--one made of wood--opened it, looked at the bags of nuts and bolts, closed the box and sent it back. (It was too heavy for me to get it into my car so I paid for the UPS pickup.) THIS exercise wheel was a breeze to assemble. I wish more things were made this way. The instructions were extremely clear, the parts felt very sturdy. (I was afraid I might break one of the plastic parts because they snap together, but everything fit perfectly.) Once assembled, everything moves very smoothly. Nothing wobbles or squeaks. The one exception is that you have to install the mat pieces so there is no real seam between them. The adhesive was so strong that removing and re-installing them wasn't going to be easy. When I got to the final mat, I had to cut it down about an inch so it fit in the final section. I watched the suggested training videos. (Maybe I should have made my cats watch them, too!) I tried the various techniques and motivators suggested in the videos but my cats just wouldn't get on the wheel, even when I put a little treat or catnip on the wheel, or shone a laser pointer (those are two of the suggested techniques). I can imagine that if you start with a very young kitten, they might really use the wheel and enjoy it. My youngest cats are 4 years old. They are very playful and will chase a ball or string or laser dot, but I just couldn't get them on the wheel. I even hung some of their favorite "chase toys" so they dangled above the wheel. Still no interest. There is no way I'm going to disassemble it, even if I'm still within the return window. I will have to find a good home for it.

Great solution for high energy cats
Know your cat, and you'll succeed! I've been hesitating to get this wheel for a couple of years. I have an orange tabby and a siamese and wasn't completely sure they would use it. They have a middle level of energy and don't play for too long, though they have their zoomies from time to time. Wanted to try it for sure, thinking maybe they needed something different, but the price was too high for risks. So, I resisted. Then I adopted a brown tabby kitten, 3 months old. Even though he has a proper name, he is normally referred to as Nandor the relentless, the Kraken, little terror, tiny wrecking ball of hair or baby hurricane. You could play with him until all strenght left your body, and he would still be zooming around for more. I figured this kind of cat is the reason this wheel exists. So, I had confidence in spending $200 for a little peace. And I wasn't wrong. He used the wheel on day one, and I didn't even have to train him. He was already all over the parts as I was putting it together, and it only took a couple of treats to get him on it. Then just waved my hand a bit on the inner side, and he went. It took him a few days to get used to it, as he would run too fast and misstep a few times. But now he got the hang of it and he uses it by himself, randomly throughout the day, for a few minutes. And that is enough to give me (and the other cats) a rest and keep his energy in check. My other 2 cats want nothing to do with it. I tried multiple ways of enticing them and it was just a big fat Nope from them. Which was dissapointing, but I kinda knew, deep inside, they had chosen the couch potato life. And it's ok, even if just the kitten uses it, it's worth it for peace in the realm. The wheel was very easy to put together, but it is a bit less sturdy than I hoped for the price. And that is the reason I give it 4 stars instead of 5. It is good and sturdy enough for the kitten, but I feel it could definitely be cheaper considering the materials.

Great purchase.
Easy to put up. My cat used it right away. Not noisy to me. Stays put. Well made. Very happy with this purchase.

Pinch Paw and Tail Hazard
If you have more than one cat it is too easy for more than one cat to get on the wheel at the same time and attempt to spin the wheel while the other cat gets off balanced or just sits while their tail gets caught in the wheel. I've seen fur stuck between the large exercise wheel and inline skate wheels. I've also seen my cats hold onto sides and almost get their paws pinched. The wheel is relatively light so I can imagine the injury might be superficial, but there still is the high probability of some injury even if it is superficial. I've pinched my fingers in the wheel to test the force and it does hurt but doesn't seem to enough to cause injury. Aside from the safety issues, the installation is pretty simple, like putting legos together. The wheel is very light and easy to move around. There is no way to keep the wheel from spinning aside from attempting to lodge something between the inline skate wheels and main exercise wheel and even then it often comes loose when cat attempts to get the wheel moving. Not impressed for safety reason - open wheel pinch exposure, and lack of wheel brake. Overpriced as it couldn't cost that much to make this wheel. I will try another more expensive brand made of wood, with pinch protection and brakes and see how it goes. This wheel is being returned despite one or two of my cats enjoying the wheel. The others just look at it. 2 star for safety. 5 star for assembly. 4 star for stability as it wobbles some when it get moving fast. 4 star for spin movement as it moves almost too fast. 5 star for inner wheel felt traction. 3 star for width of wheel as it's just under 12" and not easy for two cats to run abreast. I bought a large wooden wheel with a larger track and all my cats use the wooden wheel though it doesn't spin as easy, but seems safer, whereas, just a couple of my cats used the One Fast Cat Wheel.

Well built and well thought out product.
I spent quite a bit of time looking at all of the options before buying this product. I have yet to get my cats to take more than a few steps but they are getting used to it and I'm sure we will be able to convince them to use it in time. Cats are finicky and everything takes time. I have one cat that had surgery to remove his Femoral Head. (FHO) and he needs to work out more than he does. This will hopefully satisfy that work out in time. It took me less than 3 minutes to assemble the wheel and get it spinning. Installing the felt pads took a bit longer. You must get them started perfectly or they will overrun the sides or leave gaps. After the second one, the rest were fairly easy. Some minor trimming of the last pad was all that was needed. Mine is a black wheel with the grey felt. Seeing how the gaps look now, I would have chosen to use the black felt. Maybe if they get worn I will replace them. This would not be a fun project, but perhaps in time. Overall it is a great product. Large wheel to give the kitties plenty of room to run. The wheel turns freely and has not skirts at the bottom to worry about the kitties feet getting stuck like some others. Overall a great made in the USA product. It's been one week so far, I will update in another 6 or 10 months to give a longer history of the product, but so far so good.
