DEFECTIVE product design for SOAP dish
DO NOT buy this defective product if you plan on using it as a bar of soap dish. Notice the small open spaced ribs on the bottom and particularly the large GAP at the back. When your bar of soap gets down to a little below half thickness, it slips between the bars and particularly out the back and onto the floor. It should have another set of bars making a square grid like most metal soap dishes and caddies. Maybe this was a defective batch and they forgot the second set of bars? I must say, however, it has about the best suction I have seen. But given the defective design of the dish part it is of little use, unless you just want to use it to hang stuff from.

Really strong
This works really well for me as a shaving brush and double-edged razor holder. I lay them down on this thing and they stay in place very well. The suction cups on these things are a whole other breed of suction cups, like nothing I've ever seen. They are almost impossible to pull off the wall, you will be fighting with this thing to get it down. But that's good, we want it to stay up! I've repositioned mine a couple times already and it's still sticking just as good as the first day. I think it's good to wipe off the surface as well as possible before sticking it on -- otherwise the grip might lose its function over time.

I loved the look of the product but boy was it ...
I loved the look of the product but boy was it a pain to put up. The suction, in theory, is a great design, but it fell off once I started showering and some steam formed from the heat.I didn't want to send it back because it's such a hassle. So I just used super glue to seal off around the suction. It works now but I should've have had to do that. 3 stars got docked off because it fell off the 3 times I tried putting it up.

Holds really well!
Unfortunately I didn't pay attention to where I was ordering this from, and ended up getting it from a seller in China. It took about 4 weeks for it to arrive. However, once I got in and installed it, I was quite happy. This dish holds very well to the side of my pre-fab shower. I've even accidentally hit it once or twice, when I was trying to figure out the correct placement out of the way....it still didn't fall off the wall! I love that they even thought to put rubber feet on the brace part.

Maybe my ceramic tile walls are porous....
True, when I ordered this, there were only two reviews, but they were stellar. The soap dish arrived quickly, and I read the (creatively worded/translated) instructions carefully. Within a few seconds, the soap dish was up and soon holding a basic bar of soap. Within a few hours, though, the clattering of metal (and a disappointingly considerable amount of plastic) hitting the floor of the bathtub disrupted the quiet evening. Not to be deterred (yet), I reaffixed the soap dish, deemed it secure, and went on my way. Within minutes, it again released -- in its attention-getting and loud way.So, I give up. It was not expensive, and I don't feel terribly burnt here, but I do wish it had worked. On another note, I can see how, as the soap size diminishes, it could slip out through the space in the front. And it would have been nicer had the plastic housing been stainless. But, the whole thing is headed for the recycling bin. And the search for the right soap dish continues.

Clean look and works as promised
Works and looks great! Super easy to install and feels secure and sturdy. Wife found this item because she didn't like the look of all those cheaper looking plastic suctions. We've had for 1 month and are totally satisfied.
