Beco Cat Bowl Brown

This food bowl is perfect for the cats. They basically keep all the food on it unless they get overly anxious and nudge it off with their noses. Good surface area, well built. I will say I agree with another review that mentioned the stupid label that was glued to it. Hard to get that off, but once off, you're fine. Like the food dish better than the water because of the wavy edges spill the water out the sides when bumped.

Great for cats and small dogs. Easy to clean.

Finally a low bowl. 2 cm in the lowest point. On the other hand it is so shallow that makes it difficult to pick up from the floor. It is surprisingly heavy (heavier than plastic ones, though smaller), well made, Diameter is 16 cm.And it seems manufacturer reads your reviews - the label is not difficult to remove. It stays on only with a one point removable glue. The colour brown not much of a beauty. ;)Edit: I bought a second one, pink. It is smother, as if more polished; brown is coarse.

I must admit when I first saw the reviews for this bowl I didn't quite believe them, but I thought I would try it out as it's not that expensive. have 2 normal moggies who always turn their noses up at the food unless you hand feed them, but as soon as I used to put the food into their old bowls they would ignore it.....Now they eat everything straight from the bow,l brilliant am ordering another one.Thank you we are saving a fortune in un wasted food.

The bowl is aesthetically pleasing and has a shape specifically designed for cats, though I don't see that my cats like it any more than their previous plastic bowl. It is no good for water, because they are so shallow. The capacity is only suitable for one portion of water for one cat. Besides, the bottom is not smooth and it requires much cleaning after using for either food or water. Again because of the shape, dry cat food spills out while they eat, even for a cat that never spilled a bit from other bowls. Personally I think that my cats don't like it, but that's just a guess.

The low sides of this mean cats like them (no whisker stress) but they are not really made to last. Good job they have good environmental credentials! They crack easily even when I hand wash them if they slip off the drainer for example.

I'm pleased with this because of the eco credentials and the cost. My cat seems to like the shape and ease of access to food without bashing his whiskers. It cleans beautifully in the dishwasher and I'll be buying more soon. The only small niggle is that the low sides mean food (wet and biscuits) often end up over the sides, but not huge amounts and I think that's inevitable with a shallow dish. Nonetheless, it's a really good bowl which stays in place on the floor and does what it's meant to. Worth getting for any cat.
