I have three special needs cats that I need to keep in a certain area of the house for their safety. Months ago I purchased an extra tall pet gate that worked for a while but one athletic cat discovered she could jump the gate. Purchasing this as an addition has worked amazingly well, much to the cat's disappointment and frustration. It is easy to install and the dark color means it is easier to see when extended.

This product was difficult to install. The fabric bands meant to secure the gate to the hooks kept slipping off, causing the gate to become loose and fall. I ended up having to tape the hooks to keep everything in place. Unfortunately, my puppy was still able to easily squeeze through the bottom of the gate because it’s made of cloth and lacks sturdiness. After spending nearly two hours ironing and installing it, I was disappointed to see that it didn’t work as intended. I ended up removing it and returning the product. I would not recommend this gate, especially if you’re looking for something durable and secure.

This is NOT a desired product or result. There is a physical, WEAK barrier attached by a thin loop to a plastic attachment that is stick on, or screw in. This was the very reason I bought it, and for a visual "don't cross" for trained dogs, it works well.But even an untrained dog can and will push through this. If you are lucky and the clip/hook doesn't break or come off the attachment point, the mesh is so thin it will break/rip in short order.Mine is a service dog, but large breed. Belgian Malinois. Well behaved but still young and excitable. She see's the barrier and respects it. Most of the time. If she wants to get past and the desire overcomes the training, IE one of her family walks into the office, she will plow right through it and this wont even slow her down. Luckily that is a rare event, and she is well trained.I had anticipated a better quality material and hooks, but it IS exactly what I ordered and was not expensive. So buy with consideration to your REAL needs, not anticipated quality. It works for my dog. Most of the time.

I wouldn't recommend it. It's flimsy and the sticker hooks provided to use on the wall for permanent use. When I used it and then try to readjust it to another place in the wall, it peeled off the paint and sheetrock when I tried to take it off. I'll still use it but I probably just use some push 📌 pins now. I wouldn't buy it again. I did order another one that's longer because of the entryway into the room. It hasn't arrived yet and I'm hoping that it's not the same as this one as far as the wall stickers because if you're not sure where to put it on the wall.....then if you pull it off to move it to another location,It's going to take the paint on the wall and if it's on a sheetrock, you'll see the sheetrock when removing it's putting another place. I like to send it back but I'm just going to keep it and use the push pins.

Purchased so my cats may stop clawing at my bedroom door. It was easy to install with the hook and is the perfect size (i recommended measuring your door way). However, I ordered a size larger previously (and returned) by mistake and it came with metal rods for the sides. I was bummed to see this one did not come with them as they would have been helpful for stability.

I was surprised by the poor reviews some people wrote. We measured the opening including to the area where we attached it. It fits beautifully, no gaps or draping effects at all. We deliberately placed it the way we did so it takes a little extra effort to reopen and close it, not difficult at all. It’s very sturdy and looks very nice. Keeps our cat on the porch! I recommend you measure for the highest size in order to get a sturdy and tight fit. I do recommend this.

Just about 24 hours after installation with BOTH the sticky strips and screws, the dog put her paws on the top of the "gate" and it ripped the hooks right out of the wall. It pulled the screw out and ripped the paint off the wall. It definitely does not work as a gate or barrier for dogs or children. Now I have to patch up my wall in two spots. Super disappointed.

This may seem weird but my older cat was doing his business behind my washer. So I put this mesh gate up attached it to the washer and dryer across the underside of my sink in the washroom and it does the trick. He can't get under the sink anymore. It works great. It is very sturdy and easy to use.
