This one had all the right words in the body of the listing and a color i can find in the dark (the only reason for a new case). I do not want to get a new phone and i do drop the phone a lot. So, first i need the words that say the case will protect my phone (check) and then i need it to do its job (pending).When I compare this case to my old case, it is not as bulky as my old case, so there is that concern. On the bright side, my phone is not nearly as bulky. the rubbery part of the case is what appears to be thinner than my old case (which was also military grade tested). Since the words say that the case can withstand 1000+ drops, i am a bit concerned that my phone may be at risk, but i won't know until i drop it and i'm not going to do that on purpose.I did not use the screen protector that came with the case as i still have one on the face that i would rather not take off. By the way, doubling up on the screen protector may be bad for the phone. i know someone who did that and the phone would go to sleep and it could not be woken. once the 2nd screen was removed, the phone was reactive again.The back as a very slight rise at the edges and still sits higher than the camera so there is a bit of protection for the lens. the front has a rim around so that if you put the phone face down on a flat surface, the screen will not touch. but the surface must be larger than the phone and flat.
