Loving this canister. High quality glass, and the vacuum seal is easy to use and works well. Really holds pressure, seemingly indefinitely.I roast my own coffee in small batches. Once I get all the stuff out, which takes a little effort to set up and clean up afterward, I roast enough to last a while. I used to put most of it in a sealed container. By the time I went through it all, it wasn't really freshly roasted anymore. Beans were a little stale.Not anymore! This vacuum sealed container keeps that freshly roasted taste and consistency in. No more stale beans! Loving it.My wife wants to use it for nuts, so we might wind up having to get one or two more of these handy things

Looks nice, good concept but it only work for a few hours. After pumping the air out, after a few hours it nos longer air tight / there is air again inside.

An update: I have to use a cloth and wipe the rim at least every other time I use it. Even debris I don't see will defeat the vacuum. Plus it will lose vacuum in two or three days because of the gassing. Just a note for others about the use of these devices. Any manually operated vacuum bottle used to store coffee is going to lose the vacuum if not used frequently. Coffee gives off carbon dioxide and that does take the place of any oxygen in the bottle, but it also defeats the vacuum. Not the fault of the device. This works as advertised but if I were to buy again I would get one with a battery-operated vacuum.

Great price, holds a lot of stuff, and it seems very quality! I've been using it for my coffee beans and it seems to keep them fresh. It's easy to open, and to seal, but don't bump the vacuum button more than once, I've noticed if I do, the lid lifts itself off after a while. One pump keeps it sealed tight.The ad mentions an included coffee spoon, but mine didn't include anything but the jar and the lid.Nice glass storage jar for less than 20 bucks

These jars are just what I needed. I ordered Mason jars for my over night oats but it wasn't wide enough to stir them up. These were perfect and I love the vacuum air seal cap. I take them to work and my coworkers love them. I just ordered more in other capacities. They came in a box fully protected...no broken jars. Hopefully the new ones will be delivered the same way tomorrow.

The jar was bigger than expected. But they are high quality and look great on the counter. The canister is nice looking, does the job of removing air. The vacuum seal works well and is great for keeping coffee beans fresh. The grey tint on the glass adds a touch elegance. Very satisfied.
