I bought this to reduce the eye strain. I installed it myself and pretty easy to install as I have done it before. Since have I have used it to read on my iPad Mini (not Retina), I noticed a reduction in my eye strain. Not sure if it is due to this screen, but I can't complain and am happy to be able to read my books again. Before having this screen, I would read on my iPad but felt eye strain pretty soon in 10-15 minute time frame usually. With this, I actually read pages and didn't feel it. Hence I'm happy. I have also bought Nook Paperwhite and Kindle e-reader, all for reading. And the Nook Paperwhite stopped function due to its power button after a week. So I returned it to the store. The Kindle is better in my opinion. The reason why I compare to having this screen to my E-readers is that I read on tablets, monitors etc for hours. And I would have severe eye strain and headaches. Whereby when I read on the E-reader, I felt more at ease to read for pages. Now for the first time, I can read for pages on my iPad Mini when I couldn't before. Hence I like this product.
