These hairpins are astonishing!
I bought two of these to use as accessories for my vampire doll, in fixing her up for a Halloween display. They are a little large in scale, although for an adult human they would not be. But I think they are GRAND. The axe is tucked into her waistband & looks gothic as heck, just the look I wanted! The dragon wing pin through her hair is oversized on her, but still looks exotic & chic. Both are metal, not cheap plastic, & weighty. These would work amazingly for hair decor for any Halloween hairstyle you wanted to create, human or doll! I actually love them on this doll. For the price, they are a fun addition to your Halloween costuming or displays!

Hefty and wellmade
This hair stick has some weight to it. I have fine but curly hair and I think if it wasn't curly it would not stay in place. But it is a beautifully made and the detail is gorgeous.

Prone to Warping
Out of the box, the hairpin looks exactly as listed, so no complaints there. My issue, however, is with the durability of the pin. As someone with super thick hair, I was expecting a sturdy hair pin but after the first time putting it in, the pin bent. I’m worried it’ll break soon if it keeps bending like this every time I put it in.

The Battle Axe isn't the best for your hair.
I really like the assortment of hair sticks. I love collecting hair sticks and these were all very interesting designs. I really like what they're going for. I picked the battle axe, but I kind of regret my choice even though I do love the axe and I think it looks cool. The handle of the axe is a pain to push through my hair. All of the sticks I own have smooth bodies and taper off without anything grabbing at strands of my hair. I don't have this problem with other sticks. I tried getting it in three times. I wrap all of my hair around sticks and then secure it, so I like them to be as functional as decorative. I think these are more decorative. The handle of it breaks and tries to rip at my hair.3 stars for the idea of the design and the material, which was actually pretty decent metal for the price. I can't really use it to put my hair up for work. Its not meant to actually hold anything up, I don't think. I think its just meant to be something cool to put in your hair.... Eh... In my opinion, horn is the best material.I think the other sticks being sold might be better options. I wouldn't pick anything that didn't have a smooth, tapered end. That's my two cents on these.I like and hate it.

Huge Assassin's Creed fan must have.
I adore this thing, especially as an AC fan. I've only had it a few hours, and it does look absolutely incredible. It's hefty, well made and a comfortable weight. I used it to finish off a rather messy bun and the size and hold was unmatched. Time will tell about the rest, but for the moment, I do plan to get another of these and one of the swords. The only thing that would make it better would be an actual ability to hold an edge. It feels like it could.

People love it.
It adds a fun little whimsical touch to whatever outfit you wear it with. Great for the price and doesn’t feel too heavy.
