Use the right glue
Rehabbed a desk with it. The original baize was discolored and badly torn. This worked perfectly for what I wanted it for and was exactly the right color. I used a spray glue to hold it down after masking off the rest of the desk.

It's felt. It pills when rubbed. Not good for a pool table or poker table. But it is felt.
Thought I'd try it for a table protector. To keep things from hitting table. I guess it works. It's felt. What do you want?

Looks like it will work for the writing surface on my Thomas Jefferson lap desk reproduction I am making. However it is not Baize it is felt. From a simple burn test I did with a small scrap I am convinced it is a synthetic material such as polyester not the traditional wool that quality baize and felt are made from. It does appear that it will work for my job but if I build any more of these desks I will purchase the true Baize material from the UK.

Nice and heavy fabric
Nice and heavy felt, using it to re line the draws of an old wooden tool box. Delivered on time and nicely packaged.

Good Quality, Reasonable Price.
(Written by Brenda's husband who finds a variety of uses for such material.) For mainly lining wooden boxes to hold chess pieces or to reline the bases of old chess pieces plus other similar uses. I usually need to order a square yard every five years or so. This lot was slightly thinner than the last but that might well be all to the good. At age 78 this might well be the last green baize that I buy? What is there to say about green baize other than it was dark green, the right thickness, wasn't about to fall apart and seemed to be of reasonable quality. Quick delivery and really nothing at all to moan about. Buy with confidence.

Bought for refurbishing a card table
Adequate forn purpose. Did not really want anything very thick. Quality was OK for my needs.

Bit thin but will do the job- not adhesive
Thinner than expected. Like a thin felt. Would have preferred a thicker product but I’m sure it will do the job
