FOSA G1/4 Threaded Computer Water Cooling System Meter Indicator Acrylic Replacement for PC Computer

Did not have a problem with any leaks during the install. This is day three and so far the wheel is spinning like it should and everything is silent. Will update again in a few more weeks. Product feels like it is constructed reasonably well but I want to give it some more time before I issue a final comment on its overall reliability. Will update in a few more weeks.

This is a well constructed little flow meter. I wasn't expecting much out of it, just that it turn when water passed through, but was pleasantly surprised that it did that while being of good quality. The threading is clean and the spinner spins easily when water passes over it. I use this to see if water is flowing for my K40 laser, and it works splendidly for that.

The first one was defective, the fan barely turned and it had a water leak. I went to Amazon and they were unable to help. For some reason he was no longer listed as a seller. Amazon apologized but I was stuck with a defective unit and no support from the seller. Stay away from anything that these folks sell. I guess they're fine if you get a functioning product. If not you get stuck with a defective product and no money. I repeat, stay away!

It did a great job letting me know things were working while I was flushing my system out. But the moment I filled with EK fluid - I saw the flaw in this system. You can't see through it to the indicator. Not exactly a fault of the indicator, just disappointing.

It does not leak, and looks good, but the impeller wobbles. Does not seem to be very well made.But it fit, and it is not leaking. So there's that.Could have been better tho.Also it has a blue impeller on one side and a red on the other. So be aware of this as it can effect how you mount it.

This flow meter worked well for the first couple months. However, now it doesn't spin at lower speeds. I have fan and pump curves setup for my D5 pump in my custom loop. At 100% pump speeds, the meter spins but at slower speeds then when it was new (2 months ago). At 75% pump speed the meter spins a little (start, stops, starts, stops...). At 50% pump speed it doesn't spin at all. It acts as if its rubbing on something that will not allow it to function as intended.

***Make sure you tighten the 4 screws on this. Mine came very loose***I bought this one because I wanted a clear one. I also have the Alphacool flow meter that looks almost the same. This one is very nice and feels great quality. Has 3 G1/4 ports for different flow options. Great price.

There are small comments on the quality of workmanship - there are small burrs on the thread and a slight inclination of the inner impeller relative to its center (possibly due to the displacement of the central shaft from the axis of rotation).
