These are exactly what I was looking for. The fit was perfect. They washed well. The color was a little off from the picture but I really liked them and wore on a beach vacation.

My only complaint is the pockets are a bit on the small side. They can hold my phone, keys, and wallet, but it's a little snug.I got these to wear while working at a retail store, because it's so hot and this material is very breathable. Feels like I'm not wearing pants! I got a size up than what I would normally wear because this fabric does not stretch at all. I have meaty thighs and bottom and even in a size bigger, they're a little tight. Especially because they are a low cut. I keep wanting to pull them up a little higher but can't. Since they are draw string, I 'd suggest going up in size if you have some junk in the trunk. They are really well made. I accidently put them in the dryer (I don't recommend) and they only shrunk a little, and no strings came undone, so that's a win. Also, I got the khaki color and even wearing black underwear, you can't see through them. They've been machine washed multiple times and still look good. I'd buy again.

I bought this pants as a gift for my son. Needless to say he loved the pants because we were going on vacation and thought it would be nice apparel for vacation down in Florida. They are nice, the only complaint is that the pants are see-through and you would have to wear white underwear or boxers to cover up. They were washed and definitely need permanent press on your dryer as these tend to be wrinkled. A steam Iron would also help. Other than that, the pants are stylish and trendy. He looked cool 😎 on vacation!

I bought the color green to use when I'm weedwacking and doing yard work in the summer, better than wearing denim.It seems well made and is comfortable just to wear around.I paid to have mine hemmed, I'm on the short side for my waist, lol.

There are shorts here on Amazon that are awesome!! Sailwind Men’s Linen Shorts Casual Drawstring Summer Beach Shorts. These pants, SIR7, and Sailwind shorts both are made out of linen. Also, both these pants (SIR7) and the Sailwind shorts have these beads that are awesome. They are the EXACT same beads. So I thought the thickness of the pants and the shorts would be the same. (I thought they were the same except for the length). They are NOT!These pants are very VERY thin. If you were a Southern Gentleman who needs to be in a courthouse in Georgia or Alabama, these pants are for you.That is not what I needed. It's not that I don't recommend them. It just depends if you *need* pants on a VERY hot day.I needed pants for my school-age kid for Spring and Fall when its not freezing but it is a little nippy.Also, I bought them previously and REALLY wanted to like them b/c of the beads. I recently washed the previous pair I bought and they shrink one size down. I bought size Small Men which is the right size for my son. Once washed, they would be a size X-Small Mens, equivalent to a size 14/16 in boys.So if you *need* *pants* on a very VERY hot day, buy a size larger b/c they shrink, and then it would be okay.I gave it a 3 start b/c they shrink. I wish there was a number that specified the thickness of whatever clothing one is purchasing.

My son is 32x34. Notice the size chart. You could get a 32x30. In order to get an inseam that is 33 inches (your typical 6 foot tall person) you need to get XXXL. These are designed with huge waist bands and short little legs.

OK, so I am a big guy with a pretty big gut and butt. Size 42 in jeans and those jeans are just barely doable, cuz they’re very tight on me in the waist/gut/butt areas... I mention this just so you get an idea of who the guy is that’s writing this review.Most of the other casual light weight beach pants I ordered online recently have been very tight in the crotch. These SIR7 puppies are not, as I ordered the XX large size. And now, afer having ordered and already returned 4 other brands of XX-Large light beach pants within the last two or three weeks, I am now ordering two more pair of these pants in different colors.I have read some of the other reviews which state that these pants are not very durable. Here’s what I think about that: Hey, if they blow up on me by the end of the summer, who the hell cares right? I mean, come on now, 20 bucks a pair! The Margaritaville pants in XX-Large which I returned were amazingly tight in the butt and gut to where I couldn’t even zip them all the way up, much less button the top button, so in other words, they fit terribly AND they were 78 bucks just for one pair...so I couldn’t care less about whether or not these don’t last that long.Plus, the material is really soft and comfy and I live in an area right now where we’re getting into the 90s during the daytime, so these are superb as they “breathe” really well. In any case, that’s my two cents, for what it’s worth.
