XCELMen's Axis Hooded Front Zip Full Wetsuit, High Performance Stretch, 5/4mm

Unfortunately, I didn't get to use the wetsuit because the hood didn't fit, which wasn't a manufactering issue but me having a weird body size. It was very well make with a lining that made it easier to put on and comfortable. There were reinforments on the areas where two or more seams came together (a first that I've seen, but I haven't owned wetsuits in the $500 dollar range). The zipper had a protective layer on the outside plus a flap on the inside. There was another layer of neoprene between you and the zipper because of the way the wetsuit was designed. I seriously doubt water could get in by this route. The fit worked really well, except for the hood. I'm 5'7" at about 165 and the bought the Medium Large. I seriously thought about cutting the hood off and keeping the wetsuit but thought it might mess up the design function around the neck. I will be looking for the same wetsuit without a hood to replace this one. This suit was definitely worth the price.

The suit looks and fits as it should. Everything works as it should as well. For the price it’s a decent wetsuit. The stitching looks like it isn’t going to last too long, but only time will tell. I’ve used it 3 times so far and it keeps me really warm. The hood makes my hair feel dry after a lot of duck dives which is why I’m giving it a 4. The biggest downside is that the suit will flush through the chest zipper from time to time. This shouldn’t happen, but it keeps me warm in 52 degree water otherwise.

Excellent item perfect fit. Fast service

A bit tricky getting in and out but well worth it. Very warm, super light and doesn’t flush out on the hard white wash duck dives. I’m totally stoked and switching from Ripcurl to Excel. This wetsuit is made to hold up for many winter surf sessions. Go one size bigger when ordering. I normally wear LS and I ordered a L, fits perfectly tight in all areas. If your looking for a really good wetsuit that will last , this is for you then. Excellent for the price.
