easy to install, good price.
easy to install. use soapy water, soak your windshield in soapy water right before you put your tint on. then, line your tint up with the top of your windshield (and the curves at the top). there will be little dots at the very top of your windshield, place directly UNDER those dots. But also make sure they there isn’t any light coming in between the tint and the dots. make sure to use the squeegee to get bubbles and water out. when you get to your mirror assembly, cut a line where the assembly start, you will now have 2 sections of tint. then take your other strip and do the passenger side the same as the drivers side. one last thing, make sure you get all the bubbles out

Ditch the sun visor shuffle on your commute.
Installation is the tricky part, I stupidly thought I could install it around my dashcam mount. Well I thought I could, I made a hash of it and threw that one away.I ordered another one. I removed the dashcam mount for it that time. I cut it on the outside of the window. I should have scooted it up more instead of using the existing cut line. Upon installing the second time I marked the same measurements for the both sides w tape, 6 inches down.Soapy water and a razor knife I went to work. Start in the middle. I beg you. Push it up to the top then out. Otherwise you’ll end up like mine with a thin patch from the rear view mirror to the passenger side.My own ramshackle installation skills aside, the product is fantastic. The plastic squeegee that comes with it was sufficient for installation. Soap and water in a spray bottle to maneuver it into place and a razor knife to cut it into the correct shape is all you’ll need.I drive from the west to the east into work. I still wear sunglasses but the sun is literally not an issue for me anymore. If only my install skills were as good as this product. Hell I will probably order a third to get it right on my car and install one on my SO car.

Practice makes Perfect
yeah......This is a nice product a great value, and it looks cool and keeps the sun at bay. The things you need to expect....installation is tricky I'm sure being precut makes it easier, but don't expect your install to be perfect on the first attempt. I came out with acceptable results but not perfect. Do NOT attempt this on a breezy day, make sure everything is clean, clean, clean! If this touches anything it picks up dust sand grit whatever. My truck is always at the beach....meaning sand everywhere. Clean the dash, the windshield in and out, the seam at the top where you will use as a cutting guide, any table to assist or hold tools. also make sure you have a heat gun or hair dryer on hand to slightly help eliminate bubbles. DO NOT force the material it will crease and the creases will not come out and be visible in the finished product. The price of this is low enough that you can purchase two....chalk the first try up to practice......the second one will be perfect! One real advantage to this precut is that it provides a lower even straight line across the bottom. Looks better than the upside down smile that would result from a straight cut. The needed curve is already cut for you....install on an overcast windless day and take your time....remember your goof ups and the second time will be perfect. Oh yeah....four drops of dish soap to about 16 ounces is prefect any less and the film does not slide easily.

Not for DIY and Tesla
This is not a casual easy project, I messed up the cut by 1/8" on each side of the passenger windshield and thought that wouldn't too bad, but it looks awful from the outside. Not for a high-end car DIY project. I peeled it off and put it back in the tube and returned it. It left an extremely sticky glue that required acetone to remove. Be careful!! It did not adhere well either, lots of bubbles and pimples

Easy to install - Just spray soapy water!
Much easier than I thought. I had to cut the tint down to size. I cut the top so that I could hide any imperfections. I set the tint on the outside of the windshield and used a sharpie to trace the cuts. After I cut it I put it back on the outside to verify it was the right size. Then I opened both front doors and sprayed the inside of the widow. Peel back a small portion of the film and put it on the widow. The tint will slide around easily because of the soapy water. When you get about half of the film up it will hold long enough to move the passenger side line that side up. Then you do one last slide into place. Then you squidgy down from the top. Water and soap will get everywhere but that's okay because it will clean your dash and window after you are finished.

Must be trimmed and is NOT static installed.
2000 Jeep Cherokee. This windshield tint strip must be trimmed both across the windshield - unless you have a very wide windshield - and from the roof down to the mirror as this is 12" high. It comes half way down my windshield!Very difficult to trim straight if you try to do it on the windshield. You could measure it, mark it, then cut it on the bench, but I just wanted something easy to replace my old static mounted tint with and minimal cutting.

Worth the DIY for the money (Ford Escape 2015)
Strip comes as a roll. Was hoping for a laser cut precision fit but it was easy enough to cut the strip down to just 6 inches wide and and cut the sides to fit to the window length. Cleaned the window with razor blade and used a cheap tinting squeegee kit to apply with some soapy water. Worked great. A few bubbles formed but they are hard to spot. I didn't heat shrink because it didn't need to be when adjusting for fit on outside the vehicle. I had to do my own cutout for the mirror. Worked out fine too. Just take as long as you need to apply and don't rush. 10/10 will recommend to anyone to diy if patient.
