This is a great kit-everything you need for carving pumpkins. This kit makes carving pumpinks easy and allows you to be very creative. Excellet quality!

Easy to use and clean up.

These are completely junk and honestly I feel like it's false advertising. The pictures make it seem like these are cookie cutters that you simply use a mallet to hammer into the Pumpkin, easy right?Wrong!! These things are so cheaply made that the moment you try to hammer them in the Pumpkin with the mallet they just get all bent out of shape and then stuck in the Pumpkin.They are absolutely not even close to the durability of a cookie cutter. You could seriously bend these out of shape just with your fingers let alone using a mallet to hammer them into a pumpkin. Complete waste of money.

Made carving pumpkins a breeze! Clean up was easy also and has really great designs!

I've tried many carving kits - all have a saw and patterns, let's just say I'm not good at it. That's why I ordered this. This is such a breeze!!! Just like using a cookie cutter! Nice even, straight cuts!! You do have to "finish" it off with a knife depending on how thick the skin is on your pumpkin, but that's easy enough to do. We had to do several pumpkins for a party, and we were done in short order and they looked great. Very happy with this and much better than the pattern and knife versions! FYI - We also used them as cookie cutters too and made Jack-O-Lantern cookie pieces - they were also a big hit.

I didn't know that a pumpkin could be carved this way; for someone who is not so artistic (like me), and even for someone who is, this is a great set! The tools provided for scraping out the pumpkin are well made and difficult to flex (although I usually just use an ice-cream scoop to do this scraping). A thinner pumpkin makes carving the face easier and also makes for better light transmission. And the forms that are provided for the various shapes are surprisingly well made. This means that they will not flex a lot when pounded through the pumpkin. The whole set takes pumpkin decorating to a new level!And as an added (but unmentioned) bonus, the metal forms that have the various shapes can be used as cookie cutters!All-in-all, this is a great set and I am pleased to have and to recommend it.

My grandson is young enough that I don't trust him to use a butcher knife on his own. Yet, he loves carving pumpkins. This is going to be so much easier. We haven't used it yet but the set looks very sturdy and durable. I think he can really be creative with this and we'll have lots of fun.I think this is a good value considering all the pieces (even the candles) that are included. I'm happy!
