Surprisingly Functional & Useful
I’ve been using these open air conduction earphones for a few weeks now, and I have to admit, I’m pretty impressed with how well they perform given the unique technology behind them. These earphones aren’t your typical in-ear or over-ear headphones. Instead, they use air conduction to deliver sound through your cheekbones, which means they don’t sit inside your ear canal at all. This design offers a couple of pretty neat benefits, primarily staying aware of your surroundings while listening to music or taking calls. What stands out most to me is just how functional these are for everyday use, especially when I’m out and about. Whether I’m walking around the neighborhood or doing some light exercise, I don’t have to worry about blocking out the world around me. I’m able to enjoy music while still hearing cars, conversations, or other ambient sounds that are important for safety. It’s a huge plus if you’re someone who likes to listen to music at work. The comfort level is also worth noting. The design is lightweight and feels pretty secure once they’re on, even if you’re moving around a lot. They don’t feel uncomfortable after long listening sessions, which is something I’ve struggled with in other models. The build quality feels decent, and the buttons for controlling playback and calls are easy to access without having to fiddle around too much. However, there is one area where these earphones could definitely be improved: the bass. Because they don’t create a seal in your ear canal, they lack that deep, punchy bass that you might expect from traditional in-ear models. This isn’t a huge dealbreaker for me, but if you're a bass-head or really enjoy feeling the low-end in your music, you might find the sound a little thin in that regard. The mid-range and treble are clear, so for podcasts or spoken word, these earphones perform excellently.TLDR:Essentially, the Opera Ear B19 air conduction earphones are a surprisingly functional choice, especially if you prioritize awareness of your surroundings and comfort over super-rich bass. The sound quality is solid for most types of media, and the overall design is a great option for people who want a safer, more comfortable listening experience. If I had to make one recommendation for improvement, it would be to find a way to boost the bass a bit without compromising the open design. Other than that, I’m very happy with them.

sturdy product exceeds expectations
I wanted to "try out" bone conduction headphones while cycling when I couldn't afford to be sealed away from sounds in my environment - situational awareness while riding near traffic is essential.I had low expectations after watching some reviews, but was surprised to find that these headphones:- sound good- are surprisingly durable- have long-lasting charge- and are pleasant to interact with (comfortable, and provide intuitive controls)In more detail, the sound is not as good as over-ear headphones or noise-cancelling earbuds. The bass is not super deep. But, the sound is great for what they are, having tried a few other pairs of similar bone conduction products. I am only listening to spotify or other low-quality mp3's rather than original media when I use them, after all. They are great for podcasts, but I mostly listen to dance music to keep a beat while I am cycling, and they do keep me moving.I dropped the headphones several times and accidentally showered in them twice and they continued to work flawlessly. I had expected that getting them soaking wet or dropping them on pavement would cause problems, but no.The charge lasted for well over 8 hours on longer bike rides without a recharge, but hey, the case charges them too! And you can (as I do) use them one-at-a-time if you want to really maximize the time between plug-ins; they lasted me a week of riding without plugging in when used that way! They are so comfortable you forget you are wearing them (this is how I ended up showering with them in) and the tap-to-control is simple enough to use without thinking about it once you read the manual.Overall quite happy with this purchase.

An Incredible Sound Experience that Immerses You in Music
I was looking for a pair of headphones that would allow me to listen to music while also being able to hear my surroundings, and these air conduction headphones were the perfect solution. After using them for a week, I’m completely convinced they are worth every penny. The open-ear design is fantastic — I can still enjoy my favorite songs, but I can also hear what’s going on around me, which is crucial for safety when jogging or cycling in the city. The fit is excellent. I have a small ear, so I often struggle to find headphones that stay in place, but these fit perfectly. They’re also extremely comfortable. I can wear them for hours without feeling any pressure or discomfort, and I’ve never had any issues with them falling off during my workouts. The sound quality is impressive. While they don’t have the deep bass of traditional headphones, the clarity is outstanding. Vocals and instruments come through clearly, and I don’t feel like I’m sacrificing sound quality for the open-ear design. In fact, I prefer it because it makes me feel safer when I’m outside. One of the best things about these open ear headphones is the battery life. I’ve used them for several long workouts, and they still have plenty of charge left. I also love how durable they feel — they’ve survived a few accidental drops without any damage.Overall, I’m really happy with these headphones. They check all the boxes for me: great sound, comfort, and the ability to stay aware of my surroundings. I would definitely recommend these to anyone who wants a quality pair of headphones for outdoor activities.
