I love using these for sketches. I had heard lots of good things about them and they have lived up to the praise. They are fun and sturdy and go a long ways. It comes with a handy storage case if you don't want them rattling around loose in a box.

I like using this media. It has very rich and deeply pigmented colors. I use it like watercolor in pan format.

I use these to add less defined details to my mixed media pieces. I love the fact that you can add water to blend them out or make washes. I bought the set mostly for the white, but I use all 3.

Nicely packaged, great quality

An artist I follow uses these and I was inspired to try them. I like the big chunk of pigment. It's freeing. Reminds me of the organic experience of using vine charcoal without so much mess. Very fun to use. Can't wait to use these - and buy more.

Been using Art Graf tailor chalks for a decade or longer. This order delivered with one of the tailor chalks broken, likely as it was jostled around in delivery. I can live with it, but not the best customer experience when receiving items that are trashed before you even open them.I can’t wait to do an exchange and also not sure the exchange would be better if shipping and deliver is the issue.

You can get really rich darks with the carbon decent mediums in graphite and the white graphite works very good except when using it as a cover the blended value is more for value adjustment than as a highlight although can be used as a highlight with thicker applications really a joy to use gave 5 stars but is truly about 4.5 great medium ArtGraf

These 3 tones add a lot to the drawing experience. Being able to brush deep darks onto a sketch, and pull the lights back out with the white is great! My students were wowed when I applied the darkest color in this set. They had bought the graphite tone, medium grey, but wanted to take turns adding the others to their works.
