Great coverage from a tiny amount; not oily at all; a touch pink, with a slight, pleasing smell, no taste
The description says "luxurious" and I agree. This balm goes on smoothly. It both soaks in and stays on top of the lips, providing comfort and protection at the same time. I like this better than any other lip balm I've used in the past. I don't lay it on heavy, just push the minimum out of the tube. Just a tiny bit gives great coverage. It has a slight pink tint and it gives my lips a rosy, but natural glow. It is not sticky: When my lips press together, they don't stick together. And it has a slight, pleasant smell--can't describe it, but it is not minty, not fruity, not citrusy. Maybe a bit floral? A bit sweet smelling? But not perfume-y. And, after application, it doesn't really have a taste. To give somewhat of a comparison so that you can decide for yourself if this is an acceptable texture for you: It is definitely not as hard as a balm like Carmex Original in the jar or those balms that screw up and out of a lipstick-type tube or the Burt's Bees wax balms. It's maybe just a touch thicker than other soft squeeze tube balms like Vaseline Advanced Healing, but really, very comparable to all those that squeeze from a plastic tube through a tiny hole and onto a flat, angled "plain". It is as thick as you want it to be: Push out just a tiny bit from the tube and it is thin as lipstick. Push out a big glob and you can thickly coat your lips.It is definitely not oily like Vaseline, and it does not spread from lips to the skin around lips. It stays right where you put it.If you apply it and think it is oily and thick, try squirting out a smaller amount. It really will thin to whatever you need it to be.

More like an anti-aging or rejuvenation therapy for lips - no taste, no added color, adds a bit of gloss & Lots of moisture
I really wouldn't call this a lip balm. It isn't like a lip balm that I am used to. It is more like an ointment, or a lip therapy. Oh, it has a lot of the same ingredients as a balm, and it definitely moisturizes lips well, but it does a bit more too.The formula is full of antioxidants and moisturizers, and even hyaluronic acid. It isn't completely smooth- there's some tiny beads, not many, but enough, for a very gentle exfoliation that's perfectly comfortable and feels ok to wear. They seem to disappear, so it might just be some of the beads solidifying at room temperature or the Microcrystalline Wax in the formula melting. I can definitely see where it can help with fine lines right around the lips too. It really does a great job of hydrating. After wearing it a couple of days, I noticed that my lips seemed to be more naturally colorful. The color of my lips never intensified further, and it's just a slight difference, but I'd just say that my lips seem to be the best they naturally can be after using this 2-3 times a day for a while.I like that there's no rebound dryness. There's also little taste or smell. It gives a hint of a gloss but does not add color, and it goes on thin and completely comfortable. The applicator is handy - it is a lot like a lipgloss tube, in that it comes out a tiny hole in a slanted plastic applicator. It's very easy to control the amount that comes out.

Works pretty well, but on the pricey side
Not a bad lip balm. Thick but not sticky, so it coats lips really well. I do wish it didn't have a flavor to it so that it didn't affect anything eaten or drunk after application. It's not waxy either and doesn't leave your lips feeling like something is glopped on them. A little goes a long way, and if your lips are chapped it doesn't burn when applied. On a recent bout of chapped lips after being sick, I can't say that this helped my lips heal any faster, though it was more pleasant (albeit slower) than using a medicated lip balm. As a routine moisturizing treatment, this balm isn't bad - a solid 3.5 stars. I wish it stayed in place longer after application as it wears off pretty quickly. It's not as good as an actual moisturizer, but it's a good sight better than most wax-based chapsticks/lip balms.
