Global diversity in museums
I had to read this book for school. While someone the chapter I found every easy to read others were a challenge. It’s a good book if you want to better understand global diversity in the world of museums especially American ones. It’ll make you question a lot of things and that’s always a good thing.

This anthology examines the political implications inherent in the cultural assumptions, aesthetic values, and exhibitory contexts that are implicit in the choices governing the display of art and artifacts, with museums as intermediaries between the makers/users of artifacts and exhibit viewers. The book emphasizes the need for contributions from exhibited cultures, deeper expertise in non-Western and minority culture, and experimental exhibition design that allows for multiple perspectives and a metacritical admission of the curator’s agency.

This book discusses deeply the issue without being overtly dense or complicated. It is also very entretaining. If you want to understand curating and administration of exhibiting spaces from a respecting multicultural view this book is a must.

good condition, but not very helpful
The book came on time, even before expected, and it was in great condition. It almost didn't look like a used book. The book itself, though, wasn't all that helpful. I'm a student working on a museum design and it didn't give me as much information as I wouldve liked. It was very specific to certain types/areas. I was looking for something a little more general.
