I probably should not give it a 5 star since I have not really tried it yet, but I still have a small handful from the other company I ordered from. I research the best type of spices and where to buy it from based on research...the different countries are I get my spices from seem to be great so far. Nice sealed packaging. I keep all my spices in a cool, dry, dark space to keep fresh. I can't wait to try it!

A very unique scent and flavor, with cinnamon and nutmeg notes. Much milder than black pepper but very flavorful. Use whole or ground in various dishes and in pickling. I will definitely buy this one again.

I just received the package. The cinnamon chips were well packaged and double bagged. The bag was marked with manufactured date of September 2023 and expiration date of October 2026. After I opened the package, the cinnamon looked just like the picture. Unfortunately, that's where the positive things about this purchase ended. I immediately noticed that there was only a faint smell of cinnamon coming from the chips. I tried making tea with it and got no scent or flavor of cinnamon from it. Next, I tried boiling it and got a little more scent but no flavor of cinnamon. If you are buying this for tea or culinary uses, you will be disappointed.
