Guitar Strap Pick Holder (PH-Orig)

This is literally the coolest product accessory I've ever gotten for my instruments. It fits best with leather straps. Apparently it doesnt fit well with nylon straps due to it being thin and having no grip so this won't work well on those. My leather straop on the other hand is also thin, maybe a little thicker than a nylon strap but it fits incredibly snug. A lot better than anticipated and fit 5 dunlop ultex sharp picks snug as well. The picks dont move at all. If you crave efficiency while you play shows get this asap.

I have a bunch of pick holders and this one is one of the best. It's a little bulky and can get uncomfortable until you find the sweet spot but once you do it's all good. The big deal for me was it's ability to hold all kinds of picks no matter the thickness and size. I'm using this on a pretty cheep nylon webbing type guitar strap and it slides around a bit easier than I'd like. I haven't had it fall off completely but it dose seem to work it's self half way off pretty quickly.If you were to use this on a thicker guitar strap it seems like it would stay in place better but if you're using thin nylon there are probably better options out there.

When used on a leather strap, this is a pretty secure little device. I found that I preferred it on the tail of the strap, not the front of the strap. I simply reach behind me and snag a pick.If using different thicknesses of picks, the thinner ones will fall out or be loose in the holder.

I first started sticking tape folded round to have both sides sticky and stick my picks on,like Eddie Van Halen did.It would stay stuck a few weeks then when I would grab a pick off of it the tape came with it.I have tried almost every way I could think of. Just looking around I found this guitar strap holder and my search is over.

I needed a way to hold picks with out adhering something to my guitars. Since I use a music stand and not a microphone stand other options would not work for me. This product is great. I can attach this to my strap or music stand and have my picks ready and easy to grab.

I was a little shocked at what showed up in the mail. When i saw the pick holder I was like "whoa that's a good idea". When it arrived I was quoted saying "this is a pool cover clip. What did I pay for?". It's really thin plastic and it's rather small. I thought it would be the consistency of a pick holder that goes onto a mic stand but I feel like it won't survive a trip in a gig bag. I feel that it would be worth about 3 bucks rather than the apox 8 I spent on it. I would not recommend this holder, the one that goes above the first fret is a bit sturdier and less likely to break right away.
