We bought this vacuum sealer mainly to store herbs and spices grown in our garden. Doing that is easy, simply fill the bag, and seal. One trick for preserving things with sharp stems is to put them inside of a paper towel and then place them in the vacuum seal bag. this will prevent them from poking through and releasing the vacuum.Overall, this is easy to use, has a nice small footprint on the counter, and is simple to clean. We were impressed by the number of modes it has and also that it includes enough bags (10) to get started right out of the box.

I bought this vacuum sealer because our family has a lot of leftovers. Some of them go bad quickly just being left in the fridge with zip lock. Now this little vacuum sealer will help keep it fresh for a lot longer and am excited to frequently utilize it.It came neatly packaged, and inside there was the sealer, vacuum bags and the cord. I hate looking at instructions so I had attempted to try it without looking at it but it was pretty self explanatory. I first plugged in the cord into both the outlet and the machine. Then, I put the food in the bag and placed the open ended side in the machine and closed it until I heard a click sound. I noticed that you have to hold onto the vacuum button so you can choose how tight you want it. Lastly, I pressed the seal button and voila! It was vacuumed and sealed perfectly. Very easy to use and works great! I will definitely recommend!
