Cuts through ceramic tile like butter
This is a very robust and well made drill bit. It doesn't glide on the shiny tile surface as long as you maintain mild pressure on the tile. It goes through the tile with ease.

It broke after 8 holes.
I needed this to drill 10 holes in tile to mount shower bars for my mother. I drilled 8 out of 10 holes complete and then one of the 4 blades on the bit broke off halfway through the 9th hole. I drilled a pilot hole for each hole with a masonry bit. This bit would take all day if you dont drill a sizeable pilot hole. Bit gets very hot,so hot you cant touch it so plan on taking a break after every hole to let it cool. Im just going to buy a regular masonry bit to finish since this bit cant seem to last. Package says up to 200 holes so I dont think 10 holes is to much to ask for.
