Really fun to fly and great customer service
My 13 y/o son got one for Christmas but the box was missing landing gear and the plane looked like it was previously returned and resold by Amazon. I initiated a return to Amazon then Volantrexrc customer service reached out to see what I needed and sent several replacement parts. The plane is so fun to fly we decided to keep the replacement plane too. Beginner mode is fool proof. Intermediate allows loops. Expert mode should be left for true experts. I thought I had a handle on it but once those gyros kicked off a wind gust caused a death spiral right into the pavement. Surprisingly the only thing that happened was the nose cone fell off and the impact caused the prop to get wedged into the cowling body. Once pulled out the plane went back to the sky. Only complaint is sometimes it takes 15-20 seconds for one of the planes to sync with the controller before the prop spins. 4 stars for the plane itself and extra star for the outstanding manufacturer customer service.

Good starter airplane
Easy to fly, comes with two batteries, fairly sturdy. This is my third, so the low price is nice. If you wreck it, it can be repaired somewhat, but the price means it won't hurt your feelings too much. Like any front-engined airplane, crash it nose first too many times and it will strip the gears on the motor, which is what happened to my other two. Overall, a lot of fun to fly and nearly anyone can fly one.

Needs more support for beginners
I think you need to have a basic understanding of RC planes to get the most enjoyment out of it. I had to make minor tweaks to get it to fly perfectly. It could use more support to get beginners up and flying happily. But, I really love it.

It’s not plastic!! Can break easily!
I am disappointed! The pictures don’t show the real material of the airplane. They look like plastic, but they are not! It’s made by Styrofoam!! Maybe it’s good to fly, but definitely not good for kids or beginners! It’ll brake easily! I’m returning the item!

Hours of fun!
I recently purchased this remote control airplane for my 7-year-old, and I couldn’t be more impressed. This remote control airplane is perfect for kids, especially those around 7 years old. It’s easy enough for younger children to control, with its three-level flight assist system that helps beginners stay steady and progress as they improve their skills. The controls are simple, and my child picked it up quickly, making it a fun and frustration-free experience. Another feature that really impressed me was the inclusion of two rechargeable batteries. Each battery lasts around 20 minutes, which is a decent amount of flying. Having an extra battery means that the fun doesn’t have to stop once the first one runs out – just swap it out and you’re ready to go again. It’s a small detail, but it makes a big difference in overall satisfaction. The plane itself is incredibly lightweight, which is perfect for younger kids who want to carry it around. It’s sturdy enough to handle some bumps and crashes, but light enough to avoid serious damage. Plus, the compact design and packaging make it easy to transport, whether you’re heading to the park, a friend’s house, or even on a family vacation. We love bringing it along when we visit open spaces—it’s a great way to enjoy outdoor time together. Overall, this remote control airplane has been a huge hit in our household. It’s well-made, affordable, and perfectly suited for young kids who are just starting out with remote control toys. If you’re looking for an engaging and rewarding outdoor toy that your child will love, this remote control airplane is an excellent choice.

Good for beginners, but be cautious
Great beginner plane I will say it flew great in the wind for a small airplane, but stopped working four hours after slamming into the ground. Too many times the prop would not spin.

Actually a good trainer plane
Best rc for the price which I’m assuming they are going to raise after more reviews but it’s a good training plane as it says there are 3 modes I’m no expert and if you haven’t also flied any planes in a while specially with moving props and what not I would say use easy mode to start of and switch to middle when u need to take a tighter turn but switch back to beginner to get the best stability, pro bode is more like no wind at all this can be used on a like decent wind ish type of weather and still handle from the gyros in easy mode but if there’s air and u can’t really fly.. bye bye buddy lol it gets a decent reach but wouldn’t risk it on going far propellor comes off when it crash lands in a way that it shouldn’t but I would recommend on buying more propellers they break easily with metal contact when flying or concrete of course but grass is totally fine so is dirt, highly recommend
