Love the look and fit of this hat. I'm glad the material is not overly heavy so I don't get too hot. Feels like quality construction. There is an inner lining that I like.

I was looking for something to add to my Scottish look, and I, on a lark, tried the tam. I was surprised with how I like it, though to be honest, I've yet to wear it with my kilts. It;s a little over the top, I think, to add to a kilt look. The tam itself is fine, the only complaint I have is the pompom at the top fell off after a few uses but was easily sewn back on. Would I buy it again? I don't really know, I don't regret the purchase, just not sure the look is right for me. But that is a personal view, your opinion may vary. The tam itself is fine.

I got this Tam to complete my clan Lindsay ensemble. It seems to be built very durable, however a bit small for my large noggin. I have found that I can wear it around pretty much everywhere a hat is needed, and I especially like the way it complements my woolen scarf.I cant wait till colder weather again so I can sport this tam more!

I only wear this with a royal or navy blue shirt I am a typical American but by DNA came out around 40% Scottish and slightly more English so I wear a lot of Navy and royal blue. When I wear it people take notice.

Tight fit. The tassel came off within minutes of opening (probably a defect).I bought this for a Ren Fair, last minute. It was ok in a pinch, but it was a pretty tight elastic headband. I sent it back sure to the tassel falling off.I did order another “plaid” and the tassel has held on even after a couple weeks of use by my 6 year old grandson. It’s a perfect for him!

The product was made very good with very good material.

Nice hat, pattern nicely aligned at the top despite being relatively inexpensive. Head cuff is a bit tight, even though I have a small head. The main issue, though, is that the hat arrived with one hexagonal dart poorly stitched, leaving frayed material poking out from the side of the hat. I need it for tonight, so I can't return. Hand stitched it as best I could, but disappointed

I used this as part of a costume but it far exceeded costume quality. The material is of good quality and the fit is great for a woman’s head.

I like the Buchanan tartan bonnet , good price, is my mothers side, comfortable, good size feel s like good quality, be good if some other clans tartans added like Gunn, MacPherson, Davidson, Chatten

There is absolutely nothing wrong with this hat except that it is very hot to wear.
