Best kept secret of chefs
This steak is a kin to fillet interms of tenderness when cooked quickly so it’s perfect for steak baguettes or Philly cheese steak sandwiches. It goes well in steak pie also but the light flavour is better suited to to the former.I’ve used it for years as it used to be called “skirt” and butchers have been know to keep it for themselves or only sell to trade as it is a cheap cut but it is wonderful.

Tender and juicy; good price to quality ratio
We like this cut of meat from Whole Foods. It’s always very tender and has good flavor. Probably the best Bavette cut I have had and it’s not too expensive item. Good price to quality ratio. Have tried this on BBQ and also smoker.

Perfect for stir fry
Great, I did do the velveting technique and it turned out perfect, great for stir fry or Asian meals

Tasty and Tender
Best Quality and Value for Money for Bavette

Good quality, loosely butchering
Meat was decent quality but it was butchered like a bone in rib eye (steak length, 7 cm thick)

Great value for money and tasty
Very tender and so tasty! I cooked as a steak and as a ragout. Both way the flavour was great. Large portion

Not 350g
Bought two and thought they looked quite small. They weighed 330g and 340g and were quite liquidy - didn't drain off before weighing so would have probably weighed less. Only 30g off, but would have thought they would go slightly over rather than rip customers off
