After giving birth in the hospital, I would get very good quality elastic postpartum panties, I was looking for similar ones for a long time and I found them. These panties are very elastic, do not press anything and hold the pad well, they are comfortable to sleep and walk in. They are much better than the usual "mesh" ones advertised on TV. I recommen for all new moms.

They gave these to me in the hospital, and they were so comfy I forgot that I was wearing them! I was sure that they would be crawling up in no time as I thrashed around in that uncomfortable hospital bed. But they didn't! As soon as I got out, I purchased a set of my own. They just look like boy shorts, so they aren't hideous like tidy whiteys.... Kinda cute, not institutional at all.

I am a size M/L I purchased a XL to have enough room for the pads gauzes etc so it won't feel tight. And this so called XL feels like a M. Very tight on me. Would recommend you get 2 sizes bigger than yours. Overall its good it did not break it was washed twice but then I trashed them. Price wise Ito me its a little pricey for only 4 panties. Thats my opinion.

Purchased previously in XL. This Purchase in XL has a different manufacturer? Carez rather than Hansilk. Different colored waist band. Noticeably smaller. Reordered up a size, much happier.

I used these with cloth pads (unsnapped) and they worked great. I've always preferred these to any other garments after labor & delivery/ birth as they are tight enough to hold it together without squeezing or squishing. Held the pads in place without squishing the pads into me.
