Imaginext FMX85 T-Rex Dinosaur Toy with Colour Changing Eyes Lights, Owen Figure, Car and Dart Launcher (Gift for Kids from 3 Years), Multi-Colour

Bought for my 4yr old as his gift from Santa. I hadn't seen it in the shops, but my son was desperate for this as his gift. Managed to get it at a great price on Amazon and couldn't believe the size of it when I opened the box. He's big enough that my 4yr old sits on him. Hours of fun playing, everything has been thought out so well, it's very realistic and attention to detail, like the eyes changing pupil shape and colour make this T Rex amazing! We're big fans of Imaginext toys, but I think this has been the best set we have bought - worth every penny for a dinosaur mad 4 yr old (and even my 10yr old and 1yr old have been having fun playing with it too!)

Purchased as a Christmas present so not used to its full potential yet. Seems extremely sturdy and has the wow factor as its bigger than we imagined. We purchased it at the lower price so feel we got excellent value for money.

Big sturdy dinosaur my grandson loves this I thought it expensive but it does seem well made roars and eyes light up

Huge by little lad loves it when i opend the box and pulled out all the pieces i thought oh no two hours now trying to put it together not what i wanted on xmas day while trying to get the xmas dinner on but it took literally 5 minutes if that i was so impressed with how easy it was to put together and the end results as far as im concerned it was worth every penny .

Son loved this gift from santa , still paying with it now and he usually gets forgets about most if his toys , bit on the dear side but overall was still worth it

This has everything the boys could want in a toy, a huge scary looking bionic mechanized dinosaur they can control, jeep, missile launcher, and a figurine that the dino can chomp on. In other words, hours of free flow imagination time.When this showed up the kids had no problem getting out of the pool, they ran, to play with the new dino.First off, this thing require assembly and while adults aren’t necessary during the process there were a couple of instances where some guidance was required. The included manual is more of a pictorial guide that the boys found easy to follow. Various pieces on both the dino and tower/gate snap and lock into place and really the only thing that required adulting was insertion of batteries as a screw driver is required. Once batteries are inserted the dino makes some pretty cool noises plus the eyes light up, green and a freaky red when he/she is angered! The kids thought this was just awesome.To use the dinos jaws kids of all ages squeeze the handle located on the back, this then open the jaw and closes when you release it. Other than this the only movement is bending the dino forward to eat things, the legs don’t move, the battery’s only power the sounds, the critter isn’t capable of walking at all.We also got the FP Jurassic World Dinosaur Hauler which is on the same scale (figure and truck are same size/scale) as this set so the two fit together nicely and combined it makes for more adventures. If only there were more movable pieces or the dino could walk on its own.For durability I have no concerns that this is going to last for a long time. Where the legs and arms connect to the body, and all other pieces/joint, are solid. When compared to some other toys the pieces in this set are like tanks. Detailing is good and not really important since imagination can make anything we might consider so-so (inside of arms as in the pictures) the kids can transform into its skeleton!The only concern I do have is that smaller kids fingers might get squeezed if they put them in it’s jaws and then it closes. I don’t believe it would do any real harm but it would be a surprise to them.Because of its ability to make their imaginations flow and lack of any real deficiencies or quality I have no problem handing out 5 stars.

My 2 and a half year old adores this... It's put up with so much robust play and is in perfect condition. Imaginext toys always seem to be reliable.

Bought for my 2 year old grandson, he was delighted with this and will have many hours of fun with this
