Money for value especially when compared to similar products out there with backpack straps. For 60L it is definitely not a small bag and for the capacity it seems you do actually get the space unlike some of Mountain Warehouse's other bags. If you're on a budget and looking for a simple and versatile high capacity gym/travel bag this is probably the best option. Would get 5/5 if they designed the bag to be more comfortable when worn at full capacity.Bought this to carry my training gear while cycling. Having (adjustable and lightly padded) shoulder straps as its main feature is why I bought it as well as its larger capacity. It's also heavy rainproof. Extra compartments preferable as there is just a netted zip one on the underside of the only opening within the bag. The feeling of the clip-in compression straps, carry-on grip and small items inside the sub-compartment, when worn as a backpack might be uncomfortable for some. However, if you need to stay balanced on a bicycle or must carry lots of stuff for a long period of time, it's still a better option compared to carrying a densely packed and heavy over-one-shoulder type duffle.

A good strong bag
This bag. at 60 litres capacity is made of really strong, durable fabric and has good quality webbing straps to secure the zip closure. The fabric is heavy and clearly waterproof (not yet tested). the straps close with durable plastic click closures and go all round the body of the bag. Straps are provided so that the bag can be carried conventionally or as a crude rucksack and there is also a shoulder carry strap. There is only one storage cavity and for my purposes, it would have been good if there had been a pocket at each end for smaller items. This bag will be in use for years.

Tardis of a bag
Being used for sparring kit- holds everything with plenty of room.External material is water resistant and easy to clean, zips are sturdy and the bag is roomy. Comfy to wear as a rucksackTwo mesh pockets- one on the lid and one at one end of the bag, useful for holding small bits that tend to float down to the bottom of a bag.Would be ideal to have a mesh zip pouch at the other end as well, but can't argue for the price. Another thing to think about is how you pack it to ensure that stuff doesn't dig into your back when being used as a rucksack.Overall, a versatile bag that's good value for money

Very good
I needed some flexible with no (very)sturdy parts bag, this one can get very small and it is useful if you want to put in another bag.It is not super bug but enough to carry my other bag I wanted and have some loose space left for other things. It does not have pockets that could be useful.Material is very strong and sturdy, at the same time some parts are not so strong and use thinner material.Back straps too thin and look pretty weak.Overall does what I expected and size is on the limit for my uses and still better (bigger) than my regular backpack. So, mixed feelings but a decent buy

Multi-purpose sack ideal for all weathers
I bought this as I wanted a durable bag I could take camping with me to the highlands of Scotland. Took this bag on a 3 day trip around the Cairngorms where it did nothing but rain. This bag kept everything dry, even after being exposed to more than 6 straight hours of constant heavy rain. It's a very roomy bag, easily fits what you'd take on a 3 day hiking trip, but if I was looking for something for a longer trip, I'd certainly go bigger.

Terrible Terrible Design utter madness
Why is the bottom of the bag made of different material which is NOT water resistant. What was the company thinking when they made the bag? What's the point of including water resistant material at all when the bottom is exposed to the rain when wearing it on your back. Also if you put the bag down on the floor water would just flow in. Madnesss utter crazy world. Terrible terrible design. Sending back, refund please!

Bad customer service
This was a nice sizes bag suitable for a couple of nights away, but when it arrived it had a small cut in the side of it. Contacted mountain warehouse because I liked the bag and would have bought another one but they never had the courtesy to back in touch. So was sent back via Amazon.

Great
For a medium sized bag you can pack plenty in, probably because it just has one main compartment and doesn't lose space to side pockets. It's manageable at the airport and on the train etc. and the different handles allow you to carry it by your side, or sling it over your shoulder. It feels pretty tough and unlikely to damage easily. I took it away for a week and wasn't especially careful with it, and it has come back looking as good as new.
