Siemens RDH100 Wireless Room Thermostat & Receiver

If you are frustrated by over complicated multi time period wireless thermostats this is the one to buy. Simply an old fashioned knob to select temperature and a display of actual temperature and set temperature. Easy to fit and paired immediately. Holds wireless signal in any room in our 4-bed house too.

This radio-linked thermostat (sender plus receiver unit) was a very simple swap-out for the malfunctioning original device in my house and it worked immediately without any hassle: the sender linked with the receiver straightaway. Perfect!

Easy for senior people to use there c/heating

We had the previous model of this thermostat, which only switched on/off when the 1 degree threshold was reached in either direction. This newer model gives you a number of settings for the threshold, which is 1) +/- 1 degree, 2) +/- 0.5 degrees, and 2 further settings for an intelligent mode, depending on your system. We found one of the intelligent settings worked best and provided a smaller difference in the temperature. My only negative is the signal strength could be better. Some 'switches' are missed because the base loses signal and as a result the heating doesn't come on or turn off when it's supposed to. This was also a problem with the previous model. The placement was approx 5 meters apart through solid walls, and we eventually moved the thermostat to try for a better placement.

Very easy to fit

Ordered as old one was playing up, was told by heating engineer i had to buy both sender and receiver as they are paired as a unit. I fitted my sender first and tried to pair with old receiver, it worked straight away so i now have a spare new receiver. Works well, had it now over 12 months.

Excellent simple wireless thermostat. Bought this to replace my mum's overly complicated programmable thermostat. You need to be able to do basic electrics to fit it. Very simple to use, you just turn dial to adjust the temperature.

Easy setup and easy to use.
