Maypole Deluxe Caravan Towing Mirror Flat Glass Universal Fit

These mirrors are not flat. More I expect due to the cheap construction/materials used. Images in the mirror appear squashed and around the edges of these mirrors the image is badly distorted.Vibration and wind deflection issues are prominent on these mirrors.They do enough to give you a glimpse of traffic behind.....but not great for depth perception or width perception due to distortion of glass. These do not give a flat image of view. And around the edges the image distortion is overly poor. Useless for reversing as a result.As stated above.....just enough to do the job.I am left wishing i had spent more on a costlier brand.

This mirror was no good for broad based mirrors as on placing it into the unit it broke the glass in my mirror. The only way we could use it was upside down which wasn’t safe. If it is for anything other than a Land Rover or Discovery then it would possibly be an excellent mirror but for larger cars I wouldn’t recommend as the attachment doesn’t fit due to it being too thick.

I bought the mirror because it was cheaper, it said would fit my Mazda 6 . The screw on brackets were so small, would not hold it on and if it wasn't for the rubber safety band would have lost it twice. Cheap and nasty. I complained to the seller , for them to reply they had my message.

To be honest I only brought these to stop getting the £1000 fine for getting caught without them. I found the sturdiness non existent, they turned to look at the sky, made my mirror vibrate so that was not great either.

Doesn’t fit any mirror that’s not got a completely flat edge. Also my fault for assuming but THIS IS ONLY ONE MIRROR

Very easy to fit and remove. Good all-round view from the mirror. Only serious downside is the rubber fixing belt which perishes too quickly & too easily

Direct replacement for a similar one that I had dropped and broken the glass - had used it for many years. The arm itself is slightly thicker than the older one, and the big improvement is that the fixing clamps (onto the door mirror) now have a metal screw into a metal nut, rather than a plastic screw into the plastic body of the clamp - these seized up regularly. The metal ones should stay free for ages with the application of a little grease.

Good for when towing the caravan, sometimes they moved in winds but overall good mirror
