Fbshicung Stretch Motor Belt 10" - 13" for Home Sewing Machine Fits Singer Kenmore White

This belt fit perfectly on the Goodhousekeeper Japanese clone that I recently refurbished. The quality is great and I expect it to last a long time.

This belt fit the Singer vintage 285k sewing machine well and was easy to install. I had ordered another belt that said it was appropriate for this model that was about 13” lug type belt that was too large. This option was a smaller circumference belt that was also a narrow width to fit the machines pully and into the space around the hand wheel nicely.

I’ve never changed a belt on a sewing machine but thought really how hard could that be on a couple old sewing machines. After comparing these to what’s already on two old machines, a 50s Featherweight and a seventies White, these don’t look like they’re the right kind.They may fit my machines but at first glance they really don’t look like they will. They’re a different texture and they seem too small. They are round whereas the belts on my machines seem double layered, with a different texture on the inside and the outside of the belt. These seem so smooth and rounded (more like an eighties black rubber jelly bracelet than a piece of machinery), that it’s hard to picture these being compatible with the machines I have.To be fair the manual for the 1970s White brand sewing machine doesn’t even mention changing the belt, as though the maker really didn’t foresee the average user needing to do that bit of maintenance themselves. But that’s not a fault with this product, it’s because I don’t know how to change a sewing machine’s belt. So if you’re like me, maybe leave these to more experienced sewing machine repair persons.

They work great on my Singer 27 with an aftermarket motor kit. The belts come with a powdery coating that makes the belts slip on the pulley, after cleaning it works very well.
