Excellent light, nice features
Excellent light, nice features. Can turn on the white light independant of the coloured outer ring. Simple to wire up, easy to install.

The remote works well with a good range - I can control the light from the next room.
Arrives packed in a colour printed cardboard box. The design of the box is rather utilitarian and doesn't do anything to make you think this is a high quality product.In the box is the light, the LED driver and a credit card style remote control which comes already fitted with a replaceable CR2025 battery.The remote works well with a good range - I can control the light from the next room.There are various settings for the coloured outer ring such as different colours and fading from one colour to the next. The colour ring can be switched on and off independently to the main white light so it would make a good low level background light maybe in a bathroom. The white light is pretty bright.There are 9 different brightness settings that can be applied to whichever lights are turned on (colour and/or white) but if you change the colour it resets to full brightness. Also the only fade setting that allows you to adjust the brightness is the 'strobe' one all the others are full brightness only.Both the light and the driver seem to be well constructed with proper strain relief on all cables etc. The driver does get rather hot in operation so make sure you fit it somewhere with a bit of airflow or at least away from anything combustible.All in all a great value light.

Truly well built light
Item arrived on time and well packaged.This item is being used in a porch outdoors to light up a front door. Its very thin in profile so does not need much room. There is a small transformer with it again small profile. Wiring was easy and everything is compact and neatly made to make it easier. When on it does a great job to light up the area. Being LED I dont mind it running all night as well. The remote works well and sends it commands to a little receiver which needs to be visible. I drilled a small hole and popped the receiver through which cant really bee seen. I have mine set with colors rotating so the out ring fades in and out of each color. The item has truly impressed my neighbors with the color changing and the light emitted is warm so you dont get harsh reds or greens which would look wrong in a proch.Item was bought at a discount for an unbiased review.

You get what you pay for!
Nice and bright and looks smart but only lasted 6 months before the driver went faulty. Also having the ir sensor on a flying lead made it a pain to keep it discreet with the fitting being flush to the ceiling. You get what you pay for I suppose.
