Solid and very comfortable...a Good Buy
Several years ago I bought a pair of these loafers at Macys (I believe). They were called Streetcars, but also had the "Sketchers" trademark on the sole. They were easily the most comfortable shoes I owned - and I'm including my sneakers. I wore them constantly with jeans for chores around the house and for all the usual weekend stuff. Finally the soles were almost worn through although remarkably the upper leather and stitching was absolutely intact. Years of neglect showed, of course, but there was no other sign or disintegration of any kind. I found these on Amazon. Although they didn't have the "Sketchers" brand associated with them, I could see from the many excellent photos online (thanks Amazon) that they were stitch for stitch the same shoe. I never buy shoes online for all the obvious reasons, but I knew this shoe was identical to my old pals, so I went ahead. (The shoes are a much darker brown than my original pair, however) I wear a nine in all my shoes with the occasional odd-ball exception, and the nine in this shoe fit perfectly. It's the same amazingly comfortable and solidly built shoe I wore and abused for years. I LOVE this shoe for everyday casual wear around the house. If you actually take care of your shoes, unlike me, you'll enjoy them for any casual wear situation. This is a great buy in a comfortable shoe.

Streetcars Saddleback
I previously owned a pair of these that I bought at Kohl's. They were very soft and comfortable immediately and didn't need a break-in, that's how awesome they were. Kohl's no longer carries this line, so after mine finally broke down after a couple of years (worn alternating with other shoes, so a few times a week), I was happy to see them available on Amazon. The outside looks pretty much the same, perhaps with some minor differences, but the insole is very different and I found this newer version a bit hard to walk around in. They seem to require a break-in period. I wore them a few hours a day for a couple of days, but they've gotten gradually less comfortable throughout the day to where I couldn't wait to take them off. I've not worn them in a couple of weeks, but will give them another try for short errands to help the break-in along. They look good and feel good when first put on, but they are definitely more firm than the prior version I had.

Most comfortable shoes I have ever owned. on my 4th pair
This is my fourth pair of these shoes and they are becoming harder to find. they will usually last me about a year / year and a half, but I wear them practically everyday. They are very comfortable to wear and it hard for me to justify buying a different brand because of that reason. The shoes would probably last a lot longer if it weren't for the rubber on the bottom getting worn down. once the rubber is worn down on the tread it opens up a hole to the air cushion chamber inside and then its time to purchase a new pair. Even then I will usually keep the old pair to use to work around the house. You will not be disappointed with the comfort of these shoes.

Slightly Larger Than Usual
I've worn Strertcars Saddlebacks for years and always in an 11M. I don't usually buy shoes online, but because this model was no longer available in local retail stores and I knew how they fit, I decided to buy a pair through Amazon. Unfortunately, the shoes I received were about a half size larger than those I had purchased in the past. The labeling inside the shoe was also slightly different than earlier pairs, which might be related to the difference in sizing. Otherwise, the quality seemed consistent with my earlier purchases. I returned the shoes but may order a half size smaller.

Very comfortable and professional-looking business casual shoe.
I bought my first pair of these shoes about a year ago. I stand and walk for a good portion of my work-day, so I am always on the look out for something that looks professional while also being very comfortable. I like the convenience of having a slip-on shoe. I never feel like my foot is going to come out of the back of these shoes, making walking longer distance comfortable. They are also well-built, as my last pair pasted for about a year of almost-daily use. The soles are supportive, while the uppers are nice and supple.

Feels small this time
I had a pair exactly the same except some of the material has changed. The previous pair did not have memory foam in the sole. That may be why they feel smaller. They're not uncomfortably small, but noticeable. Still a good shoe.

Having had several pairs of these great shoes over the years- I have good reference as to what to expect. This last pairfelt as though the leather had dried out -and instead of immediate comfort - the shoe felt more like card board thansoft leather. I am more than willing to overlook this and am hopeful that they will wear in a short time.
