Aerate your lawn and watch it grow
Bought this to aerate my lawn after the long winter. I was told by a relative that it would be very beneficial to the lawn if I and will help the grass grow really well. I gave them a try for the first time today and it took a bit to get it together and strapped on to my sneakers. It was definitely a workout moving around the yard with it on for it was straining to stick in the aerator and pulling it out of the ground. I have a decent size yard and so it would take a while to do the whole yard but the better looking lawn is worth it!

Cheaper than renting an aerator
These are cheaper than renting a lawn aerator from Home Depot. They come with plastic booties to go over your shoes and save them from the mud that squishes up from the ground. Yes, you want to do this when your lawn is relatively moist because it's very hard to get those spikes to sink into packed dirt. My box did not come with the advertised wrench or the instruction manual.

They aerated well but I had to add some ty wraps around my boot heel to keep them from coming out of them as I walked.
