TPOB Clipper and Trimmer Box Set (Black SPLATT Pack)

I cut my own hair and was in search of an inexpensive trimmer to take out the bald line of my fades. While searching I came across the TPOB Ghost and was set on purchasing them until I noticed this bundle, which came with the clippers for an additional $15. So I thought I would give them a try as a backup to my Wahl Magic Clip (Black). As soon as I took the clippers out of the box, I was impressed with how they felt. They do not have a cheap feel to them in the slightest. I'm tempted to say that they feel better in my hands than my Magic Clip, but only time will tell if that is the case. The bottom line is that they have a premium feel and appear to be impressively well made. The clippers have a unique contour for the thumb on the front of the shell that makes them feel like a perfect fit when holding them in my right hand. This contour may feel slightly awkward when using with the left hand, but that wasn't so much the case for myself. I was happy to find that they are a cordless/corded hybrid like the Wahl Magic Clip, which is a feature that I prefer in case the battery life dwindles in the middle of my cut. Plugging them in ramps up the RPM slightly more, although this is common with even a high quality clipper like those from Wahl (see my video where I show this in action compared to the Magic Clip). The clippers cut like butter and the battery held up without weakening throughout the duration of my haircut. The magnetic clips are a real game-changer. They snap on quickly, easily, and do not move at all while cutting. They fit my Magic Clip just as well as they do on the Slime 2 Black Splatt. Likewise, the Wahl guards fit the Slime 2 perfectly. Although the trimmers cut incredibly close right out of the box, I wanted to zero-gap them. I have no experience zero-gapping, with this being my first time, but it was extremely easy and took no more than a few minutes. You can find a video illustrating how to do this on YouTube. The trimmers will definitely take out the bald line, especially after the zero-gap. You can see for yourself in the attached photo to this review showing my face after a couple passes with the trimmers. Overall, I can't believe how well-priced this bundle is for the incredible quality of the products that I received.

Love the quality and durability of these clippers. They glide through hair no problems. Super quiet compared to other clippers I have. Comes with some clipper guards and the charging stands. Love the broom green and black look. Has 5 levels to adjust your length. This is my second set buying this brand and I love them. Ready to use right out of the box.

Product is great! Not only are they really neat looking, they also perform very nicely. I would rank them in the same category as Andis brands as far as meeting quality expectations. The large hair trimmer is very sharp, and cuts clean lines with no guard. The smaller precision trimmer has very small teeth and cuts very sharp lines to the point you really don’t have to follow up with a straight razor if you’re in a hurry. If you continually go through the cheaper trimmers and they always seem to dull very quickly or just aren’t working like you would expect them to, theses are worth the money.

Such great clippers. I dont regret buying them... blades are sharp. Clippers are quiet and strong . Battery life is also so good... would recommend them to anyone who is looking for affordable clippers that work professionally... without breaking the wallet...

I was very impressed with the packaging and power of the main clippers. Both machines are light weight. felt a lil smaller to me. It was kinda awkward using them at first because I have large hands. I was a little disappointed in the guards. No half and no 3. I had to pull out my old set to get a more polished look for my client. The trimmer isn’t the to me . I wouldn’t recommend for a line up.overall. They will do the job.

I love these trimmer and clipper set really cute. Packaging easy to adjust. They are very quiet. They do not get hot. They are very sharp. They get the job done and the battery holds up really well.

The Clippers is actually fire for the price they are good strong lever to adjust for balding and fading very great , build as well for the price . The trimmers are OK but needs to be adjusted out the box to zero gapped but for it to cut good .now let's get in the motor not too loud nor the blade doesn't over heat too much with controlled use , lastly the speed of cutting off the hair is great the appearance this checks a lot of boxes in regards to a starter kit or use for cutting kids or community service work .

Das ist meine erste Haarschneide Maschine. Bin also kein Profi. Die Verarbeitung ist super und die klingen sind gut voreingestellt. Im Lieferumfang ist alles was man am Anfang braucht um einen reinen Maschinen Schnitt durchzuführen. Ich schneide damit ausschließlich im Privat Bereich. Für mich ist das Preis Leistungs technisch super. Was die Langlebigkeit angeht, kann ich nach der kurzen Zeit natürlich nichts sagen

Used once, but when you know, you know. I have used a variety of top branded clippers from over 20 years. These are easy to charge, feel good in the hand, lightweight and cut through hair very easily. This has magnetic clipper heads which is a positive because the worst thing is when clipper head gets worn and falls off mid cut, so this is a welcome inclusion. T trimmer cut close, shaped up and lined up as good, if not better than wahl t-liners. Quality is good with a see through design showing of the inner workings. Very good for the price whether your 1st clipper or 20th.
