The machining on this assortment is excellent, and they appear to be 304 as advertised - they barely respond to a few large mounting magnets I tried yet are much heavier than aluminum.5 stars for value and variety here and would certainly order again.

Roll pins are hollow and are split longitudinally; that's what allows them to be wedged into a drilled hole and stay in place. These are solid, and they almost look like the rolling elements of a roller bearing. They may have some use as a locating pin in some applications, but will not serve the function of a roll pin.Disappointing.
