Highly recommended
This is quite a good book of Flamenco-inspired pieces. The transcriptions are clear, and provided in standard notation and tablature. What I really like about this book is that each composition is concise, relatively easy to play, and most importantly sound good. The book is structured in a way that you continually build on techniques as you move from one piece to the next. A good book for beginners, and intermediate players alike. Highly recommended.

Great beginner pieces
This is a great Flamenco book for those starting out with Flamenco. They aren't lessons but they are small pieces of music that can be used in the beginning stages of learning. they sound great and are easy yet challenging. Will help develope your technique and will keep you motivated. I would love to see more from these two flamenco players. the video's help a lot too and can be used for reference. highly recommend.

Please publish a flamenco series from these two!
I highly recommend purchasing this book. It is perfect for begginers and even more advanced players looking to broaden their skills. I’ve played guitar for 15 year and recently got into flamenco and I couldn’t be more happy with this. The videos are very helpful, I hope that we see more of these from Elysa and Jason! Give us a 100% flamenco series, the people need more! :) ps. Please include “la Feria” in the next book;). Great buy, couldn’t be more happy with this.

Excellent intro to flamenco
This is an excellent beginner’s flamenco book. I use this book along with my guitar teacher to practice rhythm because flamenco rhythm can be quite complex, especially when adding in the addition golpes into the mix. It is great to have video of the instructors playing at full speed. The book ramps up in difficulty, ending with a bulerias which is definitely an intermediate challenge. I hope the authors make a follow up with intermediate to advanced pieces!

Excellent; musically interesting technique-builders
Excellent; musically interesting technique-builders. It is meant to be taught by a teacher familiar with flamenco techniques-it tells you when, but not necessarily how- but an ambitious student should be able to get a lot out of it by themselves. I bought two books for students-and one to play through for myself.

Excellent
Great book for beginners of flamenco style guitar. The accompanying videos are an amazing resource. Of the several introductory books I bought, this is my favorite.

Not a book for beginners
This a good book for experienced guitarist. I was a experienced guitarist (mainly fingerpicking) when I've got this book. The book has videos included but there is not a lot of explanation of different techniques. However, they play very fast. I had to go on youtube and buy another book to learn about some techniques like how to play triplets and golpe.

Like the songs and the videos - cheap binding
I like the songs and the videos, but the binding is cheap, hard to make the book stay open on the music stand.
