I've used many different brands of calf sleeves and these ones are the best, better even than the much more expensive 'Essential MX Skins' ones that I paid £20 for. The level of compression is on point and whilst giving that solid firm compression, they are still extremely comfortable to wear. I only wear calf sleeves to help with recovery from football and other forms of exercise and these stay in place really well with no slippage.Like I said, the best calf sleeves I've used after going through quite a few different and more expensive brands and they even give you instructions on how to get them on and off. I laughed at that at first but then found that their advised 'inside out/up and over' technique to get them on and off worked a treat and I could get these tight calf sleeves on and off without fighting with them.......... you can just tell that the company cares from the way the item is packaged to the instructions to the quality of the product. I've since bought a knee compression sleeve (after twisting it playing football) and ankle compression sleeve for when I inevitably next sprain my ankle, both from Modetro Sports and they are also of a superior quality to similar products I've used in the past from other brands.I highly recommend these calf sleeves and this company and hope they increase their range of products whilst keeping their prices lower than their overpriced competitors...... the value for money is incredible!!Finally, as with all calf sleeves, if you want true compression that will better facilitate recovery from exercise then go a size down from the measurement recommendation. My calves measure 35cm and so would be a medium (32-38cm) but I know from experience that the compression would be too gentle to facilitate proper recovery so I bought size small (24-30cm) and they are perfect........ the medium would have been more of a useless fashion accessory. The compression levels of one size down is firm and what you really need for recovery, yet comfortable to wear all day or to bed. You want to put them on straight after showering from exercise and leave them to do their work for at least six hours and up to 24 hours to allow for accelerated recovery for your legs.

This might not be the miracle product it promises to be but it’s pretty good for what it is.I suffer with shin splints and still get them a little bit with these on (and, to be fair, that might be my fault as I’m pretty new to running) but it has eased the pain. Thanks to these I can run for longer and in greater comfort. Another plus, which I didn’t expect, is that they also fit under my skintight running tights too which is perfect and gives me a little more support in the calf area.Love the little booklet and email that came with these and feel it’s a real quality product for the price. I’ll just have to see how my legs get on after they’ve recovered.Also, I’m about 5’3 and a size 8 so a small was perfect.Edit: a few weeks on and my legs are holding up much better with these on. I really feel the difference when I forget to put them on before a run (especially on concrete! Ouch.). I still think my running style leaves a lot to be desired but these have earned themselves an extra star. Now I would never run without them!

I bought this product to help me run my half marathon. The product arrived on time and it was really good. The purpose I bought it for was to help reduce (not prevent or stop!) the amount of pain I get in my shins when running and to help support to my shins. I suffer shin splints when running so doing a half marathon was something I was equally excited about as well as dreading. But the compression provided by the socks really helped me on the day, it does not prevent the pain from happening, it just helps to reduce it to a degree to help complete the run. So if anyone is buying the product thinking it will prevent shin splints then your going to be disappointed. If being purchased as a aid to help reduce the amount of pain experienced, then recommend this product as a worthwhile buy.

Did the job perfectly. Exactly the reason I purchased them. I signed up for a fundraising event to climb up and down 7,400 steps at Murrayfield stadium to raise money for charity. On a final dry run I hauled myself up and down over 7,000 steps and my legs were in agony afterwards. I'd read about calf compression socks and thought I'd give them a try. I selected Modetro as they had a good review, were available for Amazon Prime, looked like they'd do the job I wanted but also as I got 2 pairs for the price of 1.The instructions for taking the measurement for size were spot on. The size was perfect, they even provided details of how to put on the compression socks too as it may not be the easiest thing to do.Comfort wise they were perfect and did exactly the job I asked of them. The day after the event I woke up no stiffness and able to walk. My legs were fine just my thighs were a bit sore. The hamstrings, calls etc were fine as perfect support was given.I don't know why you would, but do not recommend wearing all day. I did to assist with stiff/sore legs from final recce run and after about 8-9 hours they did become a little uncomfortable.Would heartily recommend these and buy again. I was not forced into making this review nor have I received any goods in return for making this review.

realmente el producto es insuperable con esa ofértalas medidas que ofrecen son serias,me llegaron los dos pares me las coloque y me fui a caminar y soporte bien y no se me complico la varice ni cuando me las quite la presentación es buena, el empaque también,trae instrucciones y mas información en el sitio web.aunque no indica como ponérselas yo me las puse con la marca hacia adelante, son de textura suave a la piel y al primer lavado han quedado iguales a las nuevas que tengo.me sentiría seguro si tuviera que comprar otro producto de ellos
