Very nice product. Distributes heat, more efficiently and effectively throughout the room.

Like most floor registers, the ones in my house have vanes that direct the air to the sides. There is some directional adjustment with the big vanes lower in the register, but mostly the air is directed to the sides. One register is near a corner of the room, so the air that's sent that way just hits the wall. Another is next to the couch, so air coming out of it on one side just goes behind the couch.With these, I'm able to direct the air up into the room where it needs to be.After installing these, I've noticed that the temperature of the room is more even and the furnace is running less.I highly recommend these.While I wish there was a bit of adjustability to them, so I could angle the air more precisely, they do a good job of getting the warm air where I need it to go.

I love how this air vent deflector works. With electric prices going up I wanted to find a way to get the cold air coming from my vents more effectively into the rooms throughout my house and this deflector does the trick; It is made at such an angle to keep the air from going up the curtains (no deflector) or along the floor (like the traditional air deflectors) but rather the cold air goes into the actual room.Why 4 stars? Sadly the price is abit much.

These are very helpful for diverting the direction of the air flow while using air conditioning. It really blows the air UP so you feel the cooler air much better, especially when the floor vents are off in the corner of the room, or could be blocked by long curtains/drapes. I have many of these around the house, and have bought a few for my mother, and some friends. The magnets are strong, and the plastic is a bit thicker than some deflectors, so they're OK in sturdiness. My ONLY complaint is the *inconsistent* pricing!! I've paid as low as $10 and as high as $15, and currently they're priced around $20. WHY?!? No valid reason. (Honestly, before discovering this product, I used a rectangular box about the size of our floor vents, and that helped direct the air straight-upward, which worked very well too! lol)

Am hopeful this rating will end up at someone’s desk who can fix the product description! I assume fixing said info would greatly increase sales of this useful contraption.So first the positive: it does exactly what I wanted it to do. It even does it well.Now my negative bit: this product IS NOT 10” x 14”! It fits my 4”x12” register perfectly, so it seems safe to assume they meant to say “expands from 10 in. up to 14 in.” Made me hesitant. I would have bought sooner if I had been sure this was an appropriate product. The pictures could also make it more clear (pun intended) that the opening is on the top side of the product.Also I think the description says shatterproof, and technically it probably is, but it will still totally break the first time an adult accidentally steps on it.One last complaint is that the 2-, 3-, and 4-packs are hardly a discount/deal, if at all. I think the 2-pack is currently more expensive than two individual units of the same product.

I bought one prior from this seller and it wasn’t $27. So I’m quite peeved that the price has gone up so much for a cheap acrylic vent deflector. My master bedroom needed one and I simply couldn’t find it anywhere else. Similar products shaped slightly different are way cheaper, but this is the exact deflector I needed. So about $31 with taxes. Unreal. The magnets also aren’t that great, and it’s slides around on my vent. Just my experience. I’m not happy with this purchase this time.
