A Lifesaver
After I became unable to tolerate B12 injections for pernicious anemia, my doctor recommended Eligen B12 once daily. My insurance didn't cover it, classifying it as a vitamin supplement. I need this to survive! Well, the insurance company charged about $600 for 90 days' worth. Thanks to Emisphere Technologies, that price is nothing but a memory. I've been very pleased with the product and customer service. And my doctor has been pleased with the lab results. It's been nothing short of a godsend. Thanks, Emipshere Technologies and Eligen B12!Have just ordered Eligen B12 once again. Appreciate trustworthy, efficient service from Amazon! Am staying healthy on this medicine, a true blessing.**Update 9/14/2018** My labs over the summer revealed an excellent level of B12; the doctor was quite satisfied. Me? I felt Ecstatic, Liberated, Impressed, Grateful, Elated, and just plain Nice! A pill the size of a baby aspirin, taken once a day, has spared me the expense and ill effects of B12 injections! Sore hips are a distant memory. If you suffer from a medical condition that requires you to take B12 injections, talk to your doctor about Eligen B12 from Emisphere Technologies. I think you'll both like it.**Update 10/29/2018** Ordering this medication from Amazon makes life so much easier! The tiny pills are as easy to swallow as baby aspirin. So relieved Emisphere's technology replaces the B12 injections I can no longer tolerate. The price, also, sure beats what the insurance company charges. If you need B12 supplements, ask your doctor about Eligen B12.

B12 Deficiency has far reaching consequences
After reading a April 29, 2019 Wall Street Journal article, " Vitamin B12 Deficiency: The Serious Health Problem That's Easy to Miss" by Dana Hawkins-Simons and comparing the cited symptoms and risk factors with those experienced by a loved one, the case of B12 deficiency was most obvious, despite the loved one taking a B-complex supplement with B12 (which was not being absorbed properly) and being under the watchful but inadequate care of a physician not trained to detect B12 deficiency, esp. in a patient with such obvious risk factors (older person with removal of ileum of small intestine). One of the readers of the article mentioned in the comment section a supplement, Eligen B12, that utilizes a technology that allows absorption in the stomach (and not in the ileum section of the small intestine). The product was ordered and my loved one has been on it 16 days now. Her states her energy level has increased slightly but it does take 4 months for a whole new population of red blood cells to be made so the red blood cells' oxygen carrying ability is optimized. Because B12 is needed in the making of the protective myelin sheath of the spinal cord and nerves, damage to the sheath from B12 deficiency results in symptoms of clumsiness, poor balance, neuropathy, burning sensation of the feet, brain fog, etc., and improvement may take longer but at least damage from a B12 deficiency will be halted as a result of taking Eligen B12 supplementation. An interesting side note is a you tube video, also mentioned in the comment section of the WSJ article, called "Sally B12" where the treatment at the time was B12 injection. The good news now is that instead of having to take B12 injections, the Eligen B12 can be taken.I think the Eligen B12 may make a marked improvement in the life of my loved one and just regret her deficiency had been realized 5-7 years ago so that damage to her protective myelin sheath had not occurred.Thank you, Emisphere Technologies, for this manufacturing this product.

Eligen B12 is outstanding!
For over five years I've mentioned to my previous doctor how I had neuropathy in my feet. I don't have diabetes and his only comment was if it gets worse we'll do something about it. My doctor retired and I found a new doctor, who ordered new blood work and identified a B12 deficiency. It was her recommendation that I order Eligen B12 online. I did. It's been about sixty days and there is a noticeable positive difference. I feel that the nerves are regaining sensitivity. I plan to use Eligen B12 as long as need be. It's encouraging. I've spoken with their corporate office and they've answered all my questions. I wish I had started taking Eligen B12 when I first noticed the neuropathy. Better late than never. If you have a B12 deficiency, give it a shot ... make that "give it a pill," an Eligen B12 vitamin pill, and post your results. Thank you Eligen/Emisphere.
