Q: This is a beautiful pen - can one get it with a left hand (stiffer) nib?

Hi. Good day. Fountain pens are generally used and are suitable for right and left-handed writers alike, depending on the technique of writing and handwriting position. Our fountain pens have Schmidt size 5 nibs (Schmidt FH241). Upon checking, there are left-handed nibs for fountain pens. I'm afraid Schmidt does not offer left-handed nibs.

Q: Has anyone use this pen with the brand Ferris wheel press Ink?

Hi! For bottled inks, you can use any brand of ink. Our customers use this and we also have some photos on Instagram. Hope this helps!

Q: Is the copper/brass exposed or is it covered with a lacquer to prevent discoloration?

Hi! Thanks for inquiring. The copper/bronze pens have a clear coating. Aside from discoloration, it also makes the pens more scratch-resistant.
