The Best Gloves
I work in a very hand labor intensive industry and I have found no better gloves for repetitious work than these.

Great pair of Saturday work gloves
nice pair of gloves, very comfortable on the hands. Easy tp put on, but the Velcro strap is hard to get at. At first you struggle to strap the gloves around you wrist. But I do have to admit, after a while you do get used to it. The glove are synthetic and will work perfect for out in the yard projects or mowing the lawn, moving garbage and such. They have decent dexterity and you can pick up any small things while still wearing the gloves.

Protection and dexterity not the strong suit for these gloves...
What do I expect in a work glove? Protection, and dexterity. I'm uncomfortable about both of these with this glove. As far as protection, particularly with woodwork, I think I'd get more protection from a good pair of leather gloves. These Stanley synthetic leather gloves offer a much thinner level of protection from splinters than with, say, a pair of Wells Lamont leather gloves .And dexterity? The tips of the fingers are not well suited for detailed work with machinery... handling nuts and screws, and getting your fingers into tight spots. So the gloves are okay, but they don't replace my other gloves. Maybe I'll use these for protecting my hands from blisters when raking?

The best yard work gloves that I've ever used
I've been using leather work gloves for years to do yard work, and ordered a pair of Leather Work Gloves with Wrist Closure about three weeks ago to replace a pair that had holes in the fingertips for years. I had never thought about any other type of glove. I'm a creature of habit, if nothing else.I'm so happy that I got a chance to try out these gloves from Stanley. So far, they are the best work gloves that I've ever had, and they cost pretty much the same as the leather gloves that I've been buying. I'm even saying that they are the best that I've used despite the fact that I ordered a medium pair but received a large. While they are a bit big on my hands, they really aren't too bad. It's still easy to grip things, but I'm usually using these with tools like lawn mowers, clippers, and leaf blowers - so I'm not picking up small items. These conform to my hands much better than the leather gloves that I've been using, and I like the patches on the finger tips and palm regions that help with grip. Man, I just really like these. At first, I thought that they were making my hands sweat more because it felt like they were, but when I took the gloves off, my hands weren't sweaty at all. My first time with them was in the afternoon on a sunny day in the summer, and these are black, so my hands were getting a bit hotter than they do in my usual light tan gloves. Perhaps the material absorbed the sweat, or perhaps I was just getting used to how they felt. Either way, my hands were totally dry when I took these off.Great grip, great fit, and they sure feel sturdy. I'll definitely update my review if these start to form holes in them (my others start tearing at the finger tips fairly quickly), but for now, I'd definitely recommend them.

If I were to get another pair of work gloves I would go with the 3M Comfort Grip over these.
These gloves work just fine for doing whatever needs to be done. The fit is OK, not great, and the pebbled grip is nice. I mean, what else is there to say? I do have to say that I don't know exactly why there is a velcro closure around the wrist. The value of that is lost on me. Unnecessary?By comparison, I like 3M Comfort Grip Gloves CGL-CR, Cut Resistant (ANSI 3), Size L, better than these Stanley gloves. The 3M gloves fit better and provide great protection. If I were to get another pair of work gloves I would go with the 3M Comfort Grip over these.

Size large works great for my spouse. Flexible yet protective.
I had chosen these in a medium intending to use them for myself for general yard work. They arrived in a large which is too big for me. However they fit my husband beautifully. He has arthritic metacarpals from decades of rock climbing. Stiff gloves are painful for him. These have just the right flexibility where he needs it yet are protective against trauma. He is thrilled with the overall usefulness as well as the excellent fit, these have become his default gloves for home repair and garage work. He notes he can pick up the tiniest washer or screw while gloved. Very pleased!

Comfortable, flexible, soft yet sturdy
These are comfortable and were thoughtfully designed not to have seams or bunching in any areas where you need good tactile sensation or comfort. They are flexible, soft yet sturdy and protective, and I really like them for using small power tools like my electric hedger or battery-powered string trimmer where I would like just a little bit of a grippy surface yet still need some good tactile sensation.
