I recently purchased the Osmo Action 5 Pro, and I’m thrilled with my experience! From the moment I received the package, I could tell DJI put a lot of thought into the details. The build quality feels rugged and durable, exactly what you want for an action camera. It’s been 5 months since I am using this action camera. I switched from gopro to Dji and it was one of the best decision. Video quality, picture quality, battery backup and night mode everything is excellent and this camera beats GoPro from huge margins. Highly recommended for any kind of vlogging or personal usages.

Quality of camera is good, Battery life is more compare to other action camera.

The media could not be loaded. For last few days I am trying my new DJI Osmos action 5 Pro. So where are my findings.1. Camera switches on very fast.2. Very good videos. Nice stability.3. Better night photography.4. Lens guard and camera protecting frame supplied in the bundle.5. Very easy transfer between mobile and camera through the app.6. You can control the camera with your mobile phone.7. 4K 10 bit video recording possible.8. Few mix like slow motion, hyperlapse provided.9. Fast battery charging by my 33 wat charger.Cons.1. Battery life is advertised as 4 hours but I am not getting even 2 hours.2. The camera heats very easily. It start heating as soon as you start using it. Fortunately not too much.3. At this price point they should have provided at least a basic selfie stick tripod.4. There are very few preset video options. They need to upgrade their firmware. If not inform then at least through mobile app.5. The mobile app editing does not have the crop video function which is the very important editing function when you are shooting 4K videos in wide mode.6. Still photography is below average. Especially during low light conditions.7. A surprising miss is a silicon lens cover to protect the camera lens.Overall for action photography especially video photography the camera is great. Gives lot of options to choose from 1080p all the way up to 4K. Heating is manageable. But I am really disappointed with battery. Advertise it as lasting 4 hours. But so far I have not even saw 2 hours operating time.

Very good video quality and very user friendly

Keep this in mind folks.For dji camera to work you need to activate it through an app(why an activation…oh sorry for future upgrade right).The app that you are going to download MIMO app for action camera activation it’s around 1gb…(very sus).Without activation you’ll get few chances to use it after that you need an activation.It’s a trap…if you’re okay with all these activation stuff then surely go with it.What i wanted was an action camera that i can use right out of the box even if activation is required all to be done in a small app not a whole another OS in my phone.

This action 5 Pro is a very capable camera, I was skeptical after the announcement coz the competition GoPro hasn't changed much literally since the Hero 11... But after I got it and tried it I'd say this is by far the best action camera to film, the night footage is comparatively better than others... But keeping that a side this records in 10Bit LOG which is very handy for my workflow I am able to colour match and make it feels closer to the mirrorless cameras as well... (The bitrate could've been higher though they allow it on the standard 8 bit recording maybe an update should fix this)Also if you have the DJI mic 2 it can directly pair up with the camera which comes very handy in post...But all in all you give it a try you'll definitely love this coz this is THE Action Camera that's consistent on major things...compared to the competition...
