I've used many different blenders, low to high quality. This particular blender was the hardest to use and least effective. It is very difficult and confusing trying to use the blender. You cannot simply blend, you must go through multiple steps and it is a very long process. Moreover, when you do get it to blend it doesn't even work. All I used were frozen fruits and after multiple minute blends, there were full chunks of fruit. It is difficult because when you want to check the inside of your blend, you have to go through all the button process again to blend more. Very unnecessary controls and poor blend quality.

We've already owned two blenders before buying this one...One is handheld and the other one is the low profile blender with a plastic pitcher. They are nothing compared to this one. Of course this is a bit more expensive, but it's a lot more better. The pitcher is made off thick glass so we no longer need to concern if it's BPA-free. The blades are so thick, strong and also locked inside the pitcher. They are at least twice thicker than my other blender blades, so that reduces the blade breaking and laceration hazard.I've used it to make smoothie. It took no effort to do that. The reason why I bought this was it could blender stuff I couldn't blend before which was sesame. I love eating sesame sweet soup. It's a super easy recipe however it required ground black sesame. Due to its small size of sesame, a regular blender at low speed couldn't ground them well. I was able to blend it to smoothie texture using the juice mode on this Juschef machine. I couldn't be happier when that happened.

I tried using another brand of heating blender (similar price, also available on Amazon) before buying this one. I waited for nearly one month after purchase before writing this review, for a good reason. The other brand of heating blender functioned well for 29 days - and it stopped functioning on the 30th day (luckily, I was able to return it before the closing of the return window). I got a replacement of the same model a few days later, but the replacement stopped functioning just after 3 days. So when I bought this brand of heating blender about a month ago, I was hesitated, wondering if it would behave like the other brand. But after a month of daily use (sometimes using 2-3 times a day) making soya bean milk and tomato soup, it's a great relief to know that this is a solid, excellent, fast, and reliable blender! And I can see why it is different from another brand. This brand has a number of added design features to prevent water/liquid seepage into the electrical parts (it has a plate like dish at bottom of the glass jug, and the coupler 2 (from the glass jug) fits coupler 1 (from the main body) in a way that water /liquid can hardly touches the electrical connection. Its lid is also very well-designed, preventing water / liquid seepage from the top when cooking. I have been using heating blender carefully (following all instructions) in the same manner; I am sure the design features of this brand makes it the right choice!Also, the soya milk and tomato soup that I make daily are super delicious! My family can't go without these home-made treats!

I make a lot of smoothies and planned to use this to make baby food as well. This so called blender doesn’t even blend. And it’s not like I’m trying to crush bricks into dust here. I’m talking cannot blend frozen peaches. I read all the instructions, tried all the modes and never got a smoothie I was satisfied with. I don’t have high smoothie standards either- I just want it to be smooth! Literally every time I made a smoothie there were chunks of fruit or ice or something that plopped out into my cup. My first job as a teenager was at a smoothie bar and before this blender I used a ninja which was amazing, so it’s not user error. I only tried this one bc I liked the idea of baby food feature, but I never even used it bc I was so fed up on even trying to get a decent smoothie out of this pile. I’m sending it back tomorrow- I’m better off crushing fruit with my bare hands.

Have been using this blender for a couple of months and I like it could to make smoothies as well soy milk. It is easy to operate. The pitcher is quite sturdy and the lock function of the lid protects me from being burned when the blender is hot. Making soy milk takes about 35 minutes which is an acceptable time range. My only wish is the power of the blender could be a little higher (1000W and up) so that the smoothies, milk shakes, and soy milk would be smoother.

For the price, this is a really solid purchase. It performs just as advertised, and is drastically cheaper than products costing 8 to 10 times more. In fact, I'd have given it 5 stars across the board, but the user manual is so woefully inadequate, as most of the other reviews have stated, that the learning curve to use it is a bit steep, and continuously ongoing. For instance, it wasn't until about an hour into web resesrch on just how to use the thing that I came across the fact that the 'Juice' function is also supposed to double as the 'Cleaning' function. Which brings up another frustrating point - there is absolutely no online presence on how to use it. In this day & age, that's pretty close to inexcuseable.All that said, if you are the kind of person that can figure machinery out without having your hand held, then by all means, this is a fantastic purchase for the money.
