This is a lot tinier than I expected. It only has a small snippet of the Coraline song, but it’s really pretty. It is a manual crank, so matching the song’s speed is a little difficult, but I think it’s mostly a recognizable tune for anyone who enjoys the movie. The little details on this are very pretty. It would make for a beautiful little display piece. The build itself is very nice and the quality of the wood etching is impressive, considering how small it is. I find myself constantly playing it, as it’s a very pretty tune.

I was blown away with how amazing the engravings are on this tiny music box! The detail blew me away! So aesthetically it's a five star product aside from a small crack in the wood on the bottom.However, the engineering brought it down. I want to start by saying I have a similar Final Fantasy themed music box I ordered from Etsy for my husband. I found this Coraline was not up to the quality of that one. The crank was loose and the spokes on the drum cylinder don't protrude enough to pluck well by the comb on the vibration plate. The music just doesn't project well and lacks the speed to make the song distinguishable.I think with more work on the engineering this could be perfect! Even with the engineering flaws, I think a Coraline fan would be really happy with this by the appearance alone. It's a great piece to display on a bookshelf.

My daughter loves Coraline and I'm sure she will be very happy with it. It is pretty expensive for what It is, I don't know if that is due to licensing fees of Coraline or if it is officially licensed. If it puts a smile on her face, it will be worth it.

Coraline is one of my favorite movies, I went probably a whole year watching this movie a few times a day, for work not cause I'm crazy. And I'd like to think I'm a decent judge of what Coraline music is and it's definitely close enough for this to be incredibly cool. I wish it was a wind up and it went on its own to be the correct pace, because its hard to turn the handle at a consistent speed. This is a very nostalgic thing for me, to have a music box that you can see the metal move and play, I would spend so much time watching my jewelry boxes music play as a child.

This is adorable and was one of the things I gave my husband for his birthday, he is a big Coraline fan and enjoys unique or mechanical things like this. Someday we will probably have a curio cabinet and this is something that would do well there. I think the winding mechanism could be a little more sensitive, it takes a lot of winding to get the music playing but we love how the assembly looks and the rough edges. It feels handmade and lovely.

This is a very small music box. It’s a decorative item for us but this would be a cute item for little girls an their American Girl dolls. This would be a bit large for doll houses but might work.

Smaller than expected. The tune is not that clear, but honestly they could have picked a better tune from the movie. A hard core Coraline fan might like it.
